A little dark for a blonde, but with more flavor. Some citrus notes. Almost like a light amber ale. Overall very drinkable and good. Would definitely have again.

Pours slight hazy golden orange with small white head, smells of toasty biscuity Malta with slight spicy earthy hop, tastes of bitter crackery malts with a floral herbal happiness on top and in the finish, moderate mouthfeel medium carbonation.

Appearance: Hazy, dark golden body, crowned bu a somewhat coarse white head, with quite respectable retention. Thick, coarse-beaded forms an irregular and unbroken ring around the glass wall. Sparse bubbles drift lazily to the surface, perhaps a subtle appeal for a more relaxed pace of life.

Aroma: Lots of pale malt, with a little toast as well. A mild note of grassy and floral hops present, also.

Taste: The taste begins with a slight malt sweetness, with faint suggestions of honey. The sweetness backs off a bit, and solid pale malt and grains rise, giving the effect of bread, lightly sweetened with honey. Late in the taste, herbal and grassy hops really shine, offering a balancing counterpoint to the sweet malt. Finishes with a lingering, mild herbal hop flourish.

Mouth feel: Smooth, soft, and very full, with delicate carbonation.

Drinkability/notes: Very pleasant and drinkable, perhaps a reasonable way to introduce macro lager drinkers to craft beer.

Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce aluminum can, served in a New Belgium Brewing chalice.

Very cute can, definitely an eye catcher. Light tasting beer. Not bad at all.

This beer has a very fresh and somewhat fruity flavor. It doesn't overpower and is a very nice every day choice. It has enough of a hoppy taste to be a good transitional beer from the tamer lagers and ales to stronger-hoppy IPAs. I absolutely love it for an early afternoon brew.
