Steering the hoppy path, their odyssey through all the various hops available to them, the Green Flash brewers blend Simcoe, Amarillo and El Dorado for a sharply bitter taste and a soft bready body.
Golden and hazy, the ale casts a deeper gaze then usual. As it billows with an arid cottony froth, the beer boastfully shares its aromatic secrets. Citrus laced with fresh-cut grass, light wine and pepper whet the palate, but its first sip is of sweetened grain, light bread and soft, fresh dough.
Trending bitter and spicy, the taste quickly sheds its sweetness and propels the hops. White grapefruit, bitter orange, grassy chive, peppercorn and juniper berry blend for a complex flavor spread that circulates around hops.
The beer finishes magically. What's creamy and wheaty also gives a crisply dry character. Aided by the zesty sprite of carbonation, wine-like tang, gin-like tendencies and the bitterness of dried citrus peel- a supreme tanginess only intensifies. Stemmy, grassy and herbal; the finishing flavors seem to shift with every drink, even venturing into peppercorn and fennel at times.

22 oz bottle.
Poured pale golden, lightly hazy, and with a very durable, large and frothy white head.
This IPA highlights the citrus spectrum, with hints of orange, tangerine and lime peel. These even carry through to the aftertaste to join a subdued but expected grapefruit note. Moderately bitter for style despite the 95 IBU listing.
Medium-high but soft carbonation in a fairly light body.
