Enjoy a SoCal summer year-round with Tangerine Soul Style IPA. This delectable brew is a one way ticket to taste bud paradise. Relax and take in the brilliant, golden color and fresh aroma of effervescent tangerine. Tangerine zest carries throughout, accented by bright, floral, tropical flavors and a juicy finish. Brewed with American malts and a blend of Citra and Cascade hops, this is a beautiful brew to behold.

I generally like the IPAs from this brewery and this beer is no exception. The tangerine taste is quite prominent, which is a good thing. Solid Green Flash hop profile that my taste buds always like.

From a friend. Around the fire. Haven't seen a Green Flash beer around here in years so I dunno where it came from. I distincly remember their palate wrecker being absolutely delicious.
Look - Yellow haze with a finger of white pillow amongst the top. Stick doesn't exist.
Smell - Lives up to its name. Lotsa tangerine and sweet smelling.
Taste - Tangerine actually tones down here. While it remains present the majority of the flavor is similar to your typical mass produced ipa in the ABV range of this beer.
Feel - Sticky and sweet. Swallows easy. Sweetness hanga around the mouth. Carbonation is exceptionally low for the style but doesn't really detract from the drinking experience.
Overall - Not too shabby. Isn't gonna win any gokd medals but it's a perfectly acceptable IPA and usually Green Flash is priced to sell. Try it out.

From the 12oz bottle with an imperial nonic glass
This is one fruit addition IPA that actually improves the overall base beer. Plays well on the already existing tangerine like hop flavors. The appearance is touch cloudy compared to the original. Thick stack of ivory white foam. Lots of messy swaths and broken tracks of lace cling to the glass. The nose pops with fresh orange zest and I get some mild malt breadiness underneath. Crisp, refreshing orange juice like flavors. Very refreshing.

Slightly hazy and bright yellow in color with some darker highlights to it, pours with three fingers of yellowish, frothy and bubbly head that has a fantastic retention to it and leave great big patches of lacing on the glass.
Nice and citrusy aroma of ripe juicy oranges with light floral hop notes underneath.
Starts off pretty sweet, almost to sweet tasting with a juicy orange flavor to it, I'm getting both tangerines and navel oranges off of it, orange flavor settles into the sweetness loosing some of its juiciness giving it a nice candied orange peel quality.
Solidly sweet malt base, almost sugary that leaves a slightly sticky, slightly fuzzy mouthfeel to it and a vague hint of candy corn.
Fairly bitter finish, a bit of a surprise considering the sweetness of the front end, waxy aromatic orange zest and bitter pithy peel that lingers on the aftertaste with ghostly floral hop hints to it.
Medium bodied with a slightly higher then average amount of carbonation to it.
Not to bad, nice orange/tangerine flavor to it but a bit too bittersweet and heavy for the style with a sticky mouthfeel to it.

Poured into a narrow mug: color is copper, head is brighter white with fine bubbles, head presents 1/2 inch thick then dissipates to a ring with some lacing on the glass sides.
Smell is citrus, tangerine dominant, good rind quality, pleasant with some light toasty malt and bitter notes from hops.
Taste quite pleasant with a good balance of added citrus flavor and base beer taste: citrus rind is present with tangerine like qualities, hops are citrus and earthy, malt is light with a hint of toast and sweetness.
Mouthfeel is crisp, moderate carbonation, drying on the finish.
Overall a very easy drinking added citrus IPA, not overly added citrus flavor with good base beer qualities.

A very easy to drink IPA. A great combination of being citrous and hoppy.

Sharp, in your face citrus. Less juicy, more sharp with a cutting tangerine taste that takes away from what could be a full taste.
Haven't had Cascade hops by themselves so I'm not sure if it's those hops but to be sure this is a different type of tangerine. Not juicy tangerine, just the rinds of an overripe citrus fruit
One of the few IPAs with both citra and tangerine that I just couldn't get around to liking
