Notes / Commercial Description:
As craft beer pioneers, we embarked on an expedition to brew the benchmark West Coast IPA. We ventured into the unknown and struck gold, discovering a tantalizing menagerie of hops. Simcoe for tropical and grapefruit zest, Columbus for hop pungency, Centennial for pine notes, Citra for citrus zest and Cascade for floral aroma are layered throughout the brewing process. West Coast IPA® exemplifies the Green Flash spirit of adventure and discovery.

A - Pours a copper orange with good clarity and a big creamy head. Nice stick.

S - Huge citrus hop notes, floral, perfume, piney, resinous, with some malts.

T - Big piney, citrusy hops up front, balanced by some malts and bready flavor. Finishes with a sharp but clean bitter snap.

O - Easy drinking IPA with a robust hop profile. Nice IPA. I'd have it again.

Growler from Northbridge Pig... I guess the last one I'll get from the Northbridge Beer Garden. Served in a shaker pint.

A: light copper; creamy, 2-finger head; nice, patchy lace.

S: citrusy hops; light resin aroma; nice and hoppy.

T: a freshly bitter IPA; citrus rind; spicy hops.

M: moderate feel and high carbonation; nice.

O: a classic "west coast" IPA; drinkable and delicious; nice to close out the Northbridge Pig on a good one!
