Pours a golden copper with 1" of white, foamy, dense head that has decent retention. The nose has citrusy, floral notes, but nothing defining. The taste is bready, doughy malt that give a pineapple notes when combined with the hops. The hop character is citrusy and leaves a mild bitter finish on the palate. It's medium bodied, well carbonated, and very smooth.

This is an unoffensive, complex, smooth, enjoyable IPA.

Pours a deep orange with a big foamy sticky white 2 finger head leaving excellent lacing down the glass. Picture perfect DIPA look.

Smells of sweet citrus hops with a moderate caramel malt background.

A little disappointed by the taste after the wonderful look and aroma. A light bit of citrus up front, but it's pretty subdued. The heavy malt backbone overpowers the hops a tad bit, but it still finishes fairly dry with a sharp piney resinous flavor.

Mouthfeel and carb are both good. Not quite as thick as I was expecting, but still in a good range for the style.

Still a solid beer and better than other IPA offerings I've had from Green Flash in the past. There's just a touch too much sweetness and not enough hop flavor for my taste.

A: Thick amber orange pour with a half inch thick head. Nice and frothy head.

S: Nice fresh hop smell with malts in there as well. Hops have a citrus aroma to them. There is an odd smell to this though that I just cannot place.

T: Initial taste was not to my liking and almost metallic. Hop flavor is decent.

M: Nothing special. Finish is dry and bitter.

O: Not my favorite. There is something in this one I just don't like. Maybe it's just my bottle as there are several very favorable reviews. Just didn't do it for me.

22oz bottle poured into a Pint glass.

A - Pours a medium, clear orange with a massive cream-colored head. Good retention and spots of lacing form on the glass.

S - Pine and some slight floral tones.

T - Citrus, lots of lemon, pine, and again a floral finish.

D - Good carbonation, average to lighter body. A slight bitter finish.

O - Sharp and acidic, that lingers for a long time in your mouth.

Received this as an extra from nugganooch; thanks Dane! Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into my Bell's tulip.

a - Pours a somewhat transparent orange-golden color with two fingers of fluffy white head and moderate carbonation evident. Head leaves a ton of lacing on the glass and lasts for several minutes. Looks pretty nice.

s - Smells of citrus hops, tropical fruits, fruity malts, light pine hops, and some light floral hops. Very hoppy and fruity, pretty nice.

t - Tastes of oranges, citrus hops, lemons, fruity malts, tropical fruitys, bready malts, some light caramel malts, and light alcohol. Not as hoppy as the nose and more malts, a slight step down for me.

m - Medium body and moderate carbonation. Light bitter bite up front.

o - Overall a very good DIPA. Nose is great and chock full of fresh hops and fruits. Taste is a little bitter and more malts come out, but it's a very good beer. Something I'd certainbly have again.

Had this on-tap and was served in a 10 oz glass.
Hazy amber color with a one finger foamy head that dissipated fairly quickly.
There was a slight whiff of hops upfront, but within a few seconds the aroma turned extremely pungent.
Taste was downright unpalatable. It felt like a mouthful of roasted Brussels sprouts squashed in a mixer. I have never experienced such a foul taste profile in any IPA or DIPA till date.
It was quite the experience, one which I hope never repeats itself. I could only go halfway through the 10 oz and returned the beer.
I hope this was a one-off case and that the beer had gone bad in the keg.
Hopefully my opinion will change when I get the chance to taste this ale from a bottle.

Gorgeous hazy yellow orange with a big frothy white head and outstanding retention and lacing.

Smells like dank wet hops, oily acidic hop resins, caramelized citrus, tropical fruitiness.

Taste is dominated by hops. Layers of citrus, spruce, pine, and mango lead into some malty sweetness and a huge wave of bitterness assaults the palate.

Mouthfeel is smooth and well carbonated. Oily.

Damn good DIPA. Hop Heads Rejoice
