-yellow, and very clear as a non filtered beer would leave you to believe. crazy retention on that white head though. good amount of bubs to start
-bit of hay smell, some belgian yeast notes, and some minor background fruits
-not a big saison taste. there is a bit of lemony with some banana taste behind the yeast, but not as flavorful as i would like
-decent body for the abv, a bit dry and some bitter feel towards the end
-despite the lack of flavor a bit, i do enjoy it. it is a nice easy drinker and would never mind drinking this on a hot day

Poured from the tap at the Taco Mac in Atlanta, GA. The appearance is a clear pale yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is fairly yeasty with some grass. The taste is sweet grass and maybe coriander. A real good beer.

Tap takeover at Bittercreek.. Pours mostly clear straw golden with a nice enough white head... Wheat malt with hints of coriander and perhaps some lime zest or orange peel.. A bit grassy.. Okay Witbier... but only okay.

On tap at Yard House in Northridge, CA.
Pours a hazy dark orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, earth, citrus zest, and herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with malt, earth, citrus zest, and spice flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop and spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is drinkable, but it's quite bitter and the bitterness lingers long after each sip.
Serving type: on tap.
