El Dankerino. The Big Lebrewski.
Says best by 8/11/2015

Appearance - orange amber crystal clear with nice off white head that sticks/leaves nice lacing
Smell - Dank, resinous, garlic/onion/ganja in a good way. Then the tropical fruits come in - papaya, mango, orange.
Taste - Same as smell add piney bitterness, basically perfect.
Feel - Feels like an IIPA. Alc covered.
Overall - This is one of those every time I see it reasonably fresh I buy it. On par with all the best double/imperial ipas.

Golden orange color, poor a very light head
smell of citrus floral hops
Strong carbonation that has a nice smooth finish, a little boozy with a nice citrus taste with still the pine of a more west coast ipa.
Full mouthful
Overall I give this a 4.5, a great ipa because I like the citrus balance with the hops.

This beer pours a crystal clear golden amber color with a creamy, one finger, off white head. Retention is moderate and there is a bit of sticky chunky lacing left on the glass.

Smell is dank pine, grapefruit, tangerine, citrus pith and sweet and bready malts.

Taste is the same. The malts do their best to keep the beer balanced, but pine and citrus pith are the stars of the show, providing a super bitter one two punch.

Feel is medium, very sticky and resinous with low to moderate carbonation.

Overall a very good DIPA. The alcohol is not really present, or maybe just covered up by the bitterness. I wish it was a touch less sweet, but in a beer this big you need a decent malt backbone. I drank a pilsner after this and all I could taste was the crackery malt. It definitely lives up to it's name

It's a well-crafted beer that rightfully advertises itself as an acquired taste. I at least did not acquire it on my first try.

Big hop blast smoothed out with big malty back. Nice amber color with a sticky head. Nice blend hops malt citrus. It lingers nicely.
