Too much all at once. My palate certainly is wrecked but not to keen on it.

This is another Green Flash that must come from 22 or tap. In this case, 22 into tulip. Deep orange color with a very beige, off white (what, eggshell?) head that compacts to half finger and holds. The aroma is big citrus with some resinous stuff in there for good measure. The flavor is just a deep and sustained citrus hit that gets an add on of earthy pine across the palate, with a nice Simcoe bitter hit to round out the pine in the finish. This is a top-shelf DIPA/IIPA, especially when you need sticky hoppy.

One of Green Flash's best offerings. It lives up to the name with big bitter hops that leave your mouth dry and refreshed from the bitter hops. Big tropical notes in the aroma and taste. Not overly malty. A nice sweetness from the malts.

12 ounce bottle poured into a tulip

A: Pours a golden amber color with an off-white head, very little lacing, low carbonation, no head retention.

A: Lots of aromas, pine, resin, grapefruit peel, nice balance of light caramel/toffee malts on the backend, smells promising.

T: Lots of pine and resin, fresh squeezed pine needles, lots of grapefruit peel, touch of apricot and peaches, bitterness is present throughout the taste, finish is dry with pine and grapefruit lingering in the aftertaste, good balance of malts adds a touch of sweetness.

M: Full bodied with low carbonation and really dry finish.

O: Love this beer, lots of pine and grapefruit with a touch of malts to add some balance, lots of bitterness, this is the beer I reach for when I want a bitter bomb.

I'm a "hop-head" and I can't get enough of this.
