Poured into a tumbler pint at TapWerks in Oklahoma City.

Crystal clear gold with a frothy white head and loads of chunky lace. Gorgeous citra nose - lemon-lime, grapefruit, and white grape - with a palate that follows suit, hyperfocused on hop taste over bitterness. Malt bill is light but noticeable, a mildly creamy combo of caramel and white bread. Finishes spicy, crisp.

Love this beer - one of the only session IPAs that comes close to Founders All Day. This is on par, if not surpassing that high watermark. Excellent.

Pours a hazy amber with a fast-fading foamy white head and rather large bubbles.
The aroma is full of pineapple and orange with a slight fruity sweetness.
Taste is orange juice and orange pith, pineapple, mango and grapefruit. A nice lingering bitter finish that is quite refreshing.
Mouthfeel is medium.

bright yellowish gold, nice head that dissipates somewhat quickly. smell is all hops. if you like citra this one is for you. taste follows with abundant hops and almost no malt. I love the bitterness that comes with this beer. I will be buying more of this very soon.

Serving glass: Poured from bottle into IPA glass.

Appearance: Golden-orange with good-sized white head and decent lacing.

Smell: Definitely Citra hops, with orange, grapefruit and lemon.

Taste: The Citra hops are strong here too, with the same orange, grapefruit and lemon. Some toast and biscuit malt backing. Quite bitter on the finish - more so than most Session IPAs.

Feel: Light to medium body, but certainly not thin. Moderate carbonation. Very dry finish.

Overall: Very solid Session IPA that shows off the Citra well. Maybe a titch too bitter for the desired easy drinking session experience.

Copper colored with a quarter inch to a fingernail (in some spots) of off white head. I smell dulled notes of grapefruit. The taste is sharply bitter with citrus hops at the front of the palate. Light malt quickly steps in at the back of the palate to even things out. There's a moderate, but noticeable hop burn on your tongue. The mouth is fairly dry and crisp.

I am drinking this a month after its best by date and it is still very good. Citrus nose scented with grapefruit, a little earthy mustiness, berry and melon. Pours pale gold with a slight haze under a 2” off-white foam cap. While the head descends fairly quickly it is very lacy. On the front of the tongue the beer is all melon, tropical fruit citrus suspended in a very creamy solution that becomes increasingly bitter as it moves to the back. The beer clears and the melon becomes more prominent as the beer warms. The beer has a lot going on for 4.5 abv, is very drinkable and refreshing and has a delightful, creamy texture making it very sessionable.

Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into a mason jar.

Appearance: Pours a bright golden orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. About one finger of white head that settles into a thin creamy layer.

Smell: A ripe and juicy hop forward aroma with good hints of citrus fruit and pine. Upfront citra hop scent with big hints of grapefruit, mango, orange peel, lemon, pineapple, passion fruit, apricot, and melon. Dank hints of pine resin and some grassy hops. Soft pale malt backing with hints of cracker, grains, and yeast. A very good hoppy aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a juicy and dank hop forward taste with big notes of citrus and pine. Big upfront taste of citra hops with juicy notes of grapefruit, orange peel, mango, pineapple, lemon, apricot, melon, and passion fruit. Spicy notes of pine resin along with some grassy hops. Light backing malt presence with notes of grains, cracker, and yeast. A very good taste.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied with a moderate level of carbonation. Juicy, oily, and pretty smooth with a drying finish.

Overall: A great version of a session West Coast IPA. Big juicy hop flavor with a light smooth body.
