Pretty amber. Nice head. Very bitter piney hops, so it's a nice change of pace. The after taste is what makes me like it. Some unexpected spice from a Simon and Garfunkel song. With Haleys at Cock and Bull.

Pours a little hazy with a light copper and creamy head. The nose just goes and goes with a lemony basil scent that's so nice you don't want to stop to drink it because you know that you won't smell that again... however, I did taste. I was not dissapointed either. This may be my favorite Green Flash IPA over all but maybe Palate Wrecker. It has very distinct piney flavors (distinctness lacking in something like the West Coast) and long finish. The finish is pretty bitter and stays on the tongue begging for more. Nice.

Dark gold in color with a fingernail of off white on top. Heavy lacing is present. Excellent clarity. Aroma is a blend of pale malt and citrus hops. I taste a strong citrus hop presence in the foreground. It quickly fades into the light malt. This is a thirst quencher. There's some light chewiness but it is overall fairly smooth.

Sampled at World Expo of Beer in Frankenmuth, Michigan.
As usual, Green Flash brings it. This is a pretty freakin' intensely bitter IPA. Definitely more on the "juicy" side of things, with a bit more malt than is usually seen in an IPA. Despite the color/amount of malts, it's a quite bitter IPA... bitter enough that I don't think this is an IPA I could drink much of. The flavor there is most definitely good though, and it's overall refreshing.
Enjoyable, but definitely not Green Flash's best effort.
