Pours a hazy, copper color. 3/4 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of strong caramel malt, sweet malt, slight pale malt, and slight English hops. Fits the style of an English Pale Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong caramel malt, sweet malt, slight pale malt, and slight English hops. Overall, great appearance, but muted aroma and body.

Very nice bitter. Poured at the right temp with a large thick cream-colored head, plenty of lace, and a clear old penny color. Aroma is malt and fuggles. Flavor is similar to nose with some metal in there, otherwise excellent drinking brew. Strongly carbonated for a Brit bitter. Still, I really like it.

Deep copper colour. Thick frothy head.
Sweet malt and hop aroma.
Stewed hop with metallic undertone. Malt is present but less than expected.
Moderate carbonation.
Not as good as I remember when drinking it by the gallon in my salad days.
