A small place, much different from Tamarack. Environment was really nice: clean, somewhat upscale sports bar feel with some big screen TVs to watch football.

Beer selection was sub-par. There were more non-FLBC offerings than FLBC offerings, which was odd and not a single dark beer was available on tap. I tried their double IPA, which was quite good.

Service was good. Prices were reasonable but a little higher than Tamarack and The Rhino. Worth a visit but not at the expense of visiting Tamarack.

Flathead Lake's taproom is Missoula has a bit of a benefit over other small breweries in town: they have a full liquor license, so can be open past 8 and you can get more than 48oz of beer if you are so inclined. They have 15 house taps (9 regular + 6 seasonal), plus Guinness, although 3 of those taps were blown on my visit; the beer is decent enough. I liked the service a lot; when I waffled just a little on what to order I was poured a taster without even asking -- something I rather appreciate! The vibe is that of a pretty standard bar, although there's some nice outdoor seating as well.

I've been here several times in the last nine months. The beer selection is pretty good overall. The espresso porter and the saison are both solid options that seem to usually be on tap. The food is pretty good. The offer a nice cheese board and the sandwiches are good. During craft beer week in Missoula they had a desser pairing with their espresso porter and a chocolate cake that was really nice. The service is okay but a bit slow, and once when they weren't busy at all the server handed us our check even though we were going to order another one. We didn't.

Overall, this place is fine but I prefer Tamarack right down the road.

Great new addition to the beer scene in Missoula.

Fancy looking upstairs bar, bright white walls, black beams and local arts hanging on the walls; nice airy feeling.

Large-ish bar with seating for about 10 people, and plenty of tables dotted around the floor. Big screen TVs for sports fans.

Staff were helpful & friendly. Beer selection was all Flathead Lake’s lineup; 10 taps (with a few other Montana brews offered too), and there was growler fills too.

Food was great and priced right.

Seems a very popular place to visit.

Definitely visit next time I'm in Missoula!
