12oz can. Date stamp on bottom reads '9-20-23'.
Dark brown colored body, with a khaki colored head. The one finger head quickly dissipates to a skim and a ring.
Aroma of roasted malts, with vanilla and caramel (both of which are sweet).
Taste is a mix of sweet and slightly bitter, with flavors of caramel, vanilla, chocolate, and slight char. The roasted malts provide a solid base. The bitterness grows in the aftertaste, but does not overwhelm the sweet flavors.
Medium mouth feel, with a thinner finish. Dry finish. Good carbonation.
Molasses cookie-like flavors with vanilla being the sweetener, and caramel soothing the bitter roast.

12oz can poured into a pint
A- pours deep brown with a foamy one-finger khaki head that has good retention
S- smells of roasted barley, caramel syrup, vanilla, light char and toffee
T- roasted malts give a butter chocolate flavor up front, followed by a bit of caramel and vanilla syrups. The finish gives more caramel with a lightly bitter roasted finish
M- medium body with moderate carbonation, foamy mouthfeel and finish

poured a murky dirty brown with an initial full head that quickly disappeared.
Pleasing caramel notes and vanilla present as well.
Sweet bite of vanilla goes nicely with a prominent caramel taste. Roasty as well.
Light mouthful and enjoyable.

Can to becher pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking burnt dark amber to brown color with some black hues closer towards the center of the glass. Off-white foamy head about a finger's worth mildly slid to leave some speckled lace.
The aroma mixed together some vanilla extract, caramel, biscuits, milk chocolate and a slight earthy hop character ever so slightly underneath. Some coffee grounds.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side while pushing out the earthy hoppiness. Good aftertaste of milk chocolate, caramel and vanilla.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a good sessionability about it. Good carbonation. Fairly smooth with an easy going finish of milk chocolate and caramel sweetness.
Overall, pretty good dessert porter I'd have again. It's nice that this didn't come out with any cloying effects as it seems like the ingredients could have caused this.

Appearance: The cola colored liquid appears after a quick bubble show and is capped by a finger's worth of tan head; a few shards of lacing line the glass along with webs of foam sticking to the base
Smell: Vanilla and caramel tones, with chocolate underneath
Taste: Chocolate flavors lay down the backbone, with the vanilla and caramel emerging; sweet and fudgy, through the finish; with a little earthy bitterness lingering in the aftertaste
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: I was a little wary of this one, thinking about my distaste for the Breckenridge Vanilla Porter, but this is a fun beer to try; wouldn't drink more than one, though
Thanks, kevindp9, for the opportunity
