We planned on spending the early evening in the Short North hopping from bar to bar, then getting a cab to somewhere outside of walking distance. Everyone we talked to for 2 days said "have you been to World of Beers?". So we had to go.

It was definitely worth it. The place has a lot of room and has a very interesting multi level layout. They had 2 bands that night and the first one started pretty early because when we walked in about 9pm the second band was already playing.

It was pretty crowded but we found room for 2 to sit down. Our waitress was very attentive and we never lingered with an empty glass.

I can understand the locals not being overly impressed with this place, its a beer drinking destination, not a local bar.

Now if only they would have had really good pizza I would have been in heaven.

Very noisy on account of the live band, and the above-average selection was diminished in my experience by the fact that three of the beers I came to try were no longer available despite remaining on the menu. I was informed that they had an extraordinarily high number of taps blow that day, and I suppose that's just he luck of the draw.

A good chain place in Columbus. It is close to Columbus Brewing company, a very short walk.
The atmosphere was fine, and what ud expect from a craft beer that is a chain. No food.
Beer selection was good. Quite a few taps, alot more bottles. Lots of local and regional selections. I'd recommend checking this place out after visiting Columbus Brewing for dinner!

Stopped in here for a quick beer after dinner at Columbus Brewing Restaurant.

The tap list is mighty big, as you'd expect, with a daunting bottle list as well. Being from New York, there was a lot of great stuff here that I wouldn't be able to try at home. We only had time for one beer, so I settled on a cool B-cut- Thirsty Dog Rum Barrel Aged Wulver. It was amazing. The people there are quite friendly, and pretty knowledgeable, they helped my girlfriend, not a huge beer lover, pick something they thought she'd like.

No food, but you can apparently order from around the neighborhood. Huge space, warehouse type feel, with some outside seating. Lots of huge TVs, would be good if you want to watch sports here.

Prices are slightly high compared to other places around the city I went.
