Perfectly smells as a brown ale should.
Nice nutty and toffee flavors with perfect aroma. Hop forward flavor with malty finish.
This is a textbook American brown ale and worth a try. As for me - I’m buying a case!

I work in a shop across from Telluride Brewing. Love going in and seeing the whole operation and smelling the beer being made. Good beer and reasonable price and selection. Nice that they can bottle up anything they have on tap for you. Rock on Fish!

up on the hill on the outskirts of town, this place looks like an old mining operation or something, built tall and with wood that looks like its been wet for 100 years, sort of in a weird little mountain shoppette area. very humble interior without a place to sit down. i kind of dig that, you know, its a working brewery, they are focused on producing beer, not on having a cool taproom, and something about the highly blue collar nature of the place rubbed me right. standing room only, even though we are practically the only ones there. i loved that. good selection of beers on, including a smoked porter and a stout on nitro that i have not seen in the market. the fishwater project in bourbon barrels was the unanimous winner, a truly unique and special beer, i cant wait to source more of it! service was not poor but unremarkable, we did not chat, a simple business transaction with little interaction beyond that. the stoic nature of that seems out of place in such a welcoming and humble facility, but we may have come in a little hot. overall i have new respect for these guys after going here, that almost never happens for me with brewery visits, its often the other way around, but this is totally impressive and very much in line with my own brewery politics if you will. enjoyable to the max.
