Poured from a 22oz bottle into an imperial glass.
A: The beer is a bright amber color, with a thin off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains caramelized malts, earthy hops and some citrus.
T: The taste starts out with sweet flavors of caramel and citrus that is quickly followed by a strong but not over-powering hops presence that is a bit weak for the style. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
D: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, strong kick, good representation of style, it's a solid beer even if it isn't quite the hop-bomb the one usually craves when opting for a 2IPA. However even while looking past that, this beer is just decent overall.

Poured into a pint glass from the bottle. 3/27/13.
Golden and clear with a thick white foam..
Lots of citrus and caramel on the nose
Flavor is a little sweeter than I would like - the malt is very present. Plenty of hops, just not as hop-dominated as I prefer. Finishes with a nice clean bitterness.
Body is medium with moderate carbonation.
Overall, a tasty beer. Malty and citrusy.

Hoppy aroma, citrusy, resiny, fruit
Pours brilliant amber, 2” rocky foam head, another root beer float head that produces ledges of lace.
Palate: hops rule but they are not overbearing. Citrusy hop flavors and bitterness blend well with the light grainy malt flavors and the light large pitted fruit flavors produced by the yeast.
Medium body and carbonation. OK but not great.
