From my tasting notes of July 18, 2010. I enjoyed this beer from the comfort of my own living room. From a growler to a standard pint glass.

Appearance: Pours a dark red/brown color with a big light-tan head that lasts. Head crackles like rice krispies.

Aroma: Strong scents of malt and nuts.

Taste: Bitter chocolate malt and even nuttier than the aroma.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied and smooth.

Drinkability: Good brew and very drinkable.
