Reviewed from (very) long-standing notes. Poured from a 375 mL bottle into a Cycle Brewing goblet. Consumed while waiting out Hurricane Irma.

A: Hazy gold, with a half-finger of white head that fades. A good amount of visible carbonation.

S: Lemons, pilsner malt, and oak. Mild funk and some lactic tartness. Some tart citrus fruit.

T: Some vinous dryness and mild lemony tartness. Pilsner malts, Belgian yeast esters. Oak dryness and tannins. Grape and lychee fruitiness – guessing that's actually gooseberries. More drying oak and a light tartness in the hang.

M: A fairly light body, but it seems about average for a tripel. Low alcohol presence and good carbonation sensation.

O: Tripels remain not my favorite style, mostly because of the pilsner malt and the yeast seems to accentuate the DMS. But the oak and the gooseberry fruitiness really add something here. Not my favorite, but enjoyable.
