From 02/25/12 notes. Thanks to Thorpe429 for sharing this one. 32 oz. growler.
a - Pours a pale straw yellow color with one inch of white head and moderate carbonation evident.
s - Smells of spices, yeast, lemon, citrus hops, pepper, and some wheat. Spicy, but nice nose, and mixes well with the lemon.
t - Tastes of pepper, spices, coriander, lemon, citrus, yeast, bread, and wheat. Much more pepper then the nose, a step down for me.
m - Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty light and crisp.
o - Overall a decent saison that is heavy on the pepper, especially in the taste, and spices. Worth trying.
