On-tap at Lucky 32, Greensboro, NC
A: The beer is relatively clear yellowish amber in color and does not have any visible carbonation. It poured with a thin off white head that died down and left a thin collar of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of Belgian yeast are present in the nose along with hints of sweet malts and grain.
T: As in the smell, the taste starts off with flavors of Belgian yeast and quickly transitions to flavors of malts, some of which impart sweetness.
M: It feels a bit shy of being medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This saison isn't as yeasty, spicy, or dry compared to other beers in the style.
Serving type: on-tap
