I have been trying to get by here for the last few months and finally was able to have lunch there yesterday. I had duck fat fries and a croque monsieur. The sandwich was $8 and came with fries, but I "upgraded" to the duck fat fries for an additional $1.50. Both were very good and I would order them again. Next time I want to try the shepard's pie.
I had a Avec Les Bons Voeux by Brasserie Dupont on tap and it was very good. The beer selection is Belgian heavy but you would expect that at a "Belgian Pub". There are too many taps wasted with unremarkable beer, but being downtown it may be a necessity.(Coors and Coors Light?, Shiner and Shiner Light?) That being said I had no problem finding a beer that I wanted to drink.
Overall, the food was better than I expected and I would go there again to eat, I would like more craft beer on tap but some is better than none.
