Missouri mules hauled hundreds of wagons across the West and packed supplies in World Wars I & II. For decades, mules were also the most reliable Ozark farm hands. Like a Missouri mule, you can rely on our handcrafted India Pale Ale. This IPA packs a hop explosion that will not let you down.

Poured from a can into a tulip tasting glass. BB date is either 4/13 or 4/19.
Look: Pours a dark copper color, but tends to lighted up a bit in the glass to a light copper color. Small head when poured and doesn't stay around real long, but leaves nice lacing in the glass
Aroma: First thought was "wow, lots of hops". Piney with some citrus notes. Do pick up some sweet almost "bready" notes.
Taste: Very much like aroma , piney taste which some citrus notes. The malts balance it out, but really no strong bready or biscuit notes, but some sweetness to balance it out. The finish is dry bitter finish.
Overall; I would call this an "old style" ipa which is what i came to enjoy. If you like this style this beer should be on your list. Nothing extraordinary, but a good beer which you will enjoy.

From the can, it pours a hazy amber with a nice thick light tan/off-white head that lasts and leaves lacing. In the nose, lots of citrus, in the mouth, citrus and malt come through. Nice!

On tap. Served a copper color with a small head. Aroma of citrus, bit of pine and grain. Taste of citrus, mild malt sweetness and grain. Decent bitterness and a fairly clean finish. Medium body, with an average IPA feel.

Burnt orange color that you can't see through.
There's a strong caramel smell.
There's a strong piney hop flavor with a nice bitter finish. Some of that caramel sweetness up front. I believe I detect a hint of alcohol.
It's got a nice medium feel with a good carbonation bite at the end.
Overall I think it's a better beer than the number I'm giving it, not the best beer, but a good one for piney bitterness. Some are calling it an old school IPA, this is more bitter than that.

Very unfussy. Almost agressively. They left the malts in there and don't mind using that as an excuse to dump the hop truck.
It's an IPA, and an aggresivly unflashy one. I like that. I didn't come for the grapefruit, I came for the Ozark lethargy.
A pleasant aftertaste, too, which doesn't always happen with an ale this heavy.
