I went to the one of Mason-Montgomery road.

The environment is pleasant, but it has that chain-restaurant look and feel to it.

Beer selection was decent, but uninspired. About half of the 39 or so taps were horseshit or stuff so common that it doesn't even count when you are evaluating the merits of a beer bar. Two Hearted at a local dive bar is amazing, but it's never an option when looking for something new to try. There were only two beers among the others that I hadn't had already. Lots of local stuff without anything particularly interesting.

The food was hugely disappointing. I ordered the "Whiskey Burger," which turned out to be just a regular burger with bacon and cheese. I recall no whiskey influence at all. For $1 more, I upgraded my fries to sweet potato fries. They were tasty, but they weren't crispy at all and just a few steps away from soggy.

However, the above complaints would not be enough for me to totally avoid this place. It's fine....except for the prices. $7 for a small 10-12 oz snifter of Madtree Pumpcan, $7 for a pint of DFH Punkin, and $8 for a 10 oz snifter of Schmaltz/Terrapin Reunion.
The prices weren't listed and I probably would have passed on that last beer if I knew it was going to be that pricey.

There's too many better bars to visit this one again. I can't wait until Fries re-opens.

The server really didn't know much about the beers that were being offered the day we were in the restaurant - and she was extremely slow - but the food was exceptional. Entire table of different and delicious burgers.

The flight of 4 samples for $7.00 is reasonable and good portions. However, they only update the beer menu every Friday and the first three beers I ordered for my flight were blown kegs. I did wind up with some delish samples but I was a little sad to not get my original choices.

I will preface this review by saying that this place has only been open a few weeks. That being said; the beer selection is exceptional for a suburban Cincinnati bar/restaurant. 20+ taps of some excellent craft beer. They offer a mug club which gets you 20 oz. pours for the price of a pint. The bartenders are young and are not overly knowledgeable about the beers that they serve. However, they are very friendly and the service has been attentive. The food is decent, but not great. I'm hopeful that the food will improve as time goes on. They have a large bar with many conveniently located TVs for watching sports. This has become my favorite beer stop because of the terrific selection of craft brews.

**UPDATE** 3/25/2012 The beer selection is still exceptional. The food has improved. The burgers are delicious!
