Nashville’s only year-round Belgian-style Dubbel. This classic Belgian-style ale has a deep burgundy color and a bready malt aroma. Splashes of zesty orange and semi-sweet chocolate give this light-bodied beer layers of complexity and depth. Clean, dry finish. Pairs well with evenings amongst friends; barbecue, meat stews or a juicy steak.

12oz can stamped CREATED, NOT MADE BORN 05 21 2020 poured into a chalice at fridge temp 7.4% ABV. The beer pours medium brown in color with light khaki head. The head recedes to a thin ring and island leaving behind some lacing. The aroma is moderate in strength featuring sweet bread, cherry, cola and brown sugar. The taste is semisweet with notes of dark brown sugar, raisin, prune and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with little hop flavor. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with just above average carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, very good. This is a nice, traditional dubbel.

This dark ale is clear, dark orange-copper with a durable beige head.
The aroma is complex carries hints of various dark dried fruits yeast and vanilla.
The flavor largely follows.
Medium body with medium-low carbonation.
Overall: a decent version of the style.
