Our quest was to make the best white ale we ever tasted, with the complex flavors of a classic witbier, all brewed with pure Icelandic water for a cool smoothness that is deliciously refreshing.
Wheat malt, pilsner malt, oats, bavarian noble hops spiced with coriander and orange peel.

I was surprised when I found a 6 pack of this at a local spirits store. I’ve never seen it before so it intrigued me and I bought it. And boy am I happy I did! This beer is great, it’s so smooth and flavorful, it’s an easy drink where the taste starts out very mild and refreshing before a plateau of wheat and malty flavors hit you like a brick. A couple of these and you’re sure to get to Valhalla.

Aroma: Faint wheat and citrus after multiple attempts, no issues. 2.75
Taste: Stronger flavors, wheat, pepper, coriander. All blend well. 3.75
Mouthfeel: Light body, faint gentle carbonation. Lightly sweet, easy drinking, citrus finish. 4.0
Overall: More of a light Summer beer, but enjoying the light easy beer to start the day. 3.75

Copenhagen 15/3 2019. White version of Einstöks usual design with the bearded Viking in profile.
Pours unclear, pale yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, but frothy layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the side of the glass. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is spicy and citric. Coriander, ginger, white sugar. A bit nauseating without being oppressive. Stronger citric notes rummaging in the background.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery and lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed y a slightly stronger tart bitterness. Aftertaste is sourly bitter. Lingers for a while but quickly becomes thin.
An Witbier from the spicy side of the bench. Watery and herbal at the same time.

Clean, with tamped down white ale flavors of orange and fresh grass. Really refreshing and tightly built.

Hazy, yellow color. The aroma of spices, wheat malt, and lemon zest. Yeasts, spices, citrus, and light tartness in taste. Dry finish. Decent beer, but I didn't like that light acidity in taste.
