Wasn't quite sure what to expect until I actually held it in my hands: it is a white beer as in the Berliner Weisse, although not as sour (unfortunately) but not as yeasty as a belgian wit (luckily). It says coriander and orange peel on the bottle, I rather smell it than feel it in the taste. Overall it is rather like a blonde or a golden ale, mild and light bodied with this slightly funky feel to it.
Not bad but if you compare it with the Prairie Artisan Ales, it is a far cry from what I would call something serious. Maybe the bavarian hops are what make them fail - you would need a true American hop to funk it all up, and of course some true brewing mastery to bring the funk out...

First of all, that Viking on the label is hot! I thought this was a tastyyyy choice! Great head, pretty color, and smells good. Taste is a teeny bit thin but overall, I super enjoyed this beer!

L4.25 - typical light ale but with a pleasing cloud. Gets an extra 0.25 for sweet looking bottle label design.
S3 - the low point. Slight citrus but with a hint of unappetising vinegar
T3.5 range certainly comes through, very pleasant. Not getting much coriander though (fortunately).
F4 typical but managed to maintain slight head which I like.
O3.75 very drinkable. Great alternative on hot day to typical lager (albeit at double the cost)

Poured from the bottle at Bautinn restaurant in Akureyri, Iceland. Underwhelming. Didn't get enough wheat flavor.

Poured a hazy shade of gold with a white head. Very little retention on the head and the aromas were subtle. Upon taste there is a tinge of oats among the wheat flavors. Very refreshing and I believe the icelandic water adds enough difference to make it noteworthy. The orange peel and coriander add a but of bitterness that is noticeable but does not linger. Probably would pair well lighter fair such as chicken or salmon.

This and Wee Heavy are my least favorite of the 5 Einstok varieties that I've tried. But it's still very good. Very light with citrus and floral notes. I think I recognize a little coriander, as the bottle says there is. I get very little smell, but the taste is good. If you're wanting something light it's a nice enough choice.

This beer looks amazing. Tall densely packed fluffy white head on atop a clear yellow gold body. Smell is - strangely enough - sweet, mellow, hint of maple syrup and almost a nice warm eggo waffle batter note. Trace of of tangerine/cutie peel. Taste is very rounded and smooth - mellow. Slightly sweet hawaiian bread note and, also strange, I get a little bit of blueberry followed by a hint of tangerine peel. I say tangerine peel because it comes across thinner and not as oily and orange peel.

This isn’t the typical profile of witbier that I’m used to... but it’s still very well executed and super smooth. I got virtually no coriander and hardly any citrus. But there’s something about that water..
