Pours a light yellow, plenty of fluffy head.

Smell is a bit weak, with the expected coriander and lemon popping up.

Citrusy and crisp, this isn't very deep, but easy to drink.

Thin bodied, with plenty of carbonation.

A decent witbier, not the best I've had, not the worst. Very easy to drink.

I bought a variety of Scandinavian or rather Nordic beers, including a six pack of Einstök White Ale. It certainly not the best Scandinavia has to offer, but it is a decent Witbier.

Look: very light golden, with a thick white head.

Aroma: There’s bread/wheat, banana, citrus, perhaps coriander and some yeast on the nose

Taste: bready/wheat, bananas, citrus.

Feel: It’s light and crisp easy drinking.

Hazy, lemon yellow body; fluffy, sticky, white head. Citrus and freshly cut grass aroma intermingled with light cereal grain notes; lemon meringue. The flavor mirrors the aroma; some tart twanginess; very light layer of bitterness. Medium-heavy body; crisp and dry with a soft tartness and bite.

The very pleasant beer has a lot going for it. It is very well-balanced and delivers depth and complexity throughout. The wheat, oats and yeast bring a nice, toasty quality that is counterbalanced with a soft, mildly spicy and deft citrus aspect from the hops, orange peel, and coriander. Very delightful...

Bottle at home. Hazy yellow with a white head. Notes of yeast, bread dough, bananas, citrus hops, red berries, gooseberries. Medium body, medium carbonation and a bitter-sweet and refreshing aftertaste.

This one is a real winner with all of the key elements combining to form the right balance. The hint of orange peel and coriander is perfect, light going down and a solid aroma enough to entice you to have another. And I am not sure what it is, but accentuating the word "Icelandic" with anything for some reason scores points with me.

L: Slightly hazy golden color, three finger white head, great lacing, tons if carbonation.

S: Whet, spices.

T: Wheat, sweet.

F: Very light and smooth.

O: Ok witbier but not one I would seek again.

When the guy at the beer store says "This is the best beer in the store", what are you going to do? And when he offers an employee discount on the premium price then it's a no brainer. I was looking for something different, however, I don't like fruity beers and right on the package it says Orange peel and coriander. I don't know what coriander is but I know that orange is a fruit so I'm already biased before I pull it out of the cooler. I don't waste time talking about anything but the taste. It has a very noticeable taste of orange peel, not orange juice, but like it says on the package - orange peel. I imagine if I knew what coriander tasted like I might have noticed it too. But, for me, too much orangey taste for me to declare it the best beer in that store. This beer is not bad, but not my cup of tea to be a repeat buyer right now.

From Saveur-Biere. In Teku glass. At dinner, with omelete + cheese + sausages sandwich. Watery lemonade, not what I expect in a wit. Soapy. Nice aspect though

Single bottle copped from Total Wine and More. Pours a hazy, off-colored yellowish hue with minimal frothing. Citrus and coriander notes dominate the overall flavor profile with hints of orange and citrus shining through. A refreshing and thirst quenching beer but nothing to write home about.
