vibe: 4.5 | quality: 3.5 | service: 3.5 | selection: 2
Literally just under London Bridge on the south side. When I walked in I felt like I was entering a ski lodge or an old cabin or a very rustic restaurant in the French, Swiss or English country side. Old tools and random equipment adorned the walls in some rooms while vintage bottles of Port and wine in other more "Dressed up" Rooms. the beer selection was minimal but quality was pretty good. I had a Meantime Cranberry Stout which I had never seen or had before. A couple other Meantime beers on tap and 2-3 others on cask. Service was normal but as I only got one beer and the place was not too hectic, difficult to rate. . .the bar man was nice enough and I got my beer quickly and with a smile. I did not try any food but looked like a nice place to get a cheese plate. They seemed to specialize in both really nice Cheese and Port. I will try it again if only for the unique atmosphere and closeness to many other pubs that I love.
