Notes: Our American blonde ale is a soft and delicate ale brewed with pilsner malt and jasmine flower. The addition of jasmine adds a floral and slightly fruity layer. Single speed pours a crisp golden hue with floral undertones.

Taste: refreshing, floral herbal notes, slight sweet, jasmine, soft mouthfeel. Same with the nose.. Golden hue, clear, tall white foam head, some rings of lace. Medium to med/light body. Went well with spicy jumbo.

Received as an extra in a trade and poured into my Duvel tulip. Worth noting this was a short 12oz bottle, not a 22oz bomber.

A - Pours a very nice crystal clear light golden hue with a nice thick one finger of white head that fades to leave a thin creamy blanket. Quite nice.

S - Aromas of crackery grains, faint sweet malts, light floral notes (not perfumey, more field like). Not much in the way of hops. Light and inviting.

T - Taste is well, definitely jasmine. More of the crackery grains, sweet pale malts are in the background. Absolutely no hops here, just soft floral jasmine notes. As someone else said, the slight bitter finish comes from the jasmine flowers instead of the hops. Quite interesting and unique.

M - Mouthfeel is lighter bodied, nicely carbonated. Super crisp and clean, incredibly drinkable.

O - Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this beer. If there was more hops in here, then the jasmine would have to be more heavy handed which can lead to a potpourri/soap like aroma and taste. The way this beer was done though the jasmine is allowed to shine through in a gentle floral quality. Very, very nicely done and definitely delivers what 4 Hands set forth to accomplish.

im shocked to see this scored so poorly, i think its the best hangover beer that exists out there right now, and we all need a few of those from time to time right? man, the jasmine gives it this nice botanical softness, and the pils malt a nice bready structure that really is pretty incredible, while also being super light and not hoppy in the least, which is a welcome and needed change of pace after a big night of strong ipa. the jasmine is the perfect touch, not perfumey or anything, but very distinct without a lot of interference from the malt. simple is nice sometimes, and there is just enough nuance to hold my attention as i recover. i love all the bubbles, and i like the pillowy body, quite a bit more richness to this than i am used from basic pils type malts, a great feature as well. wildly carbonated, which also helps settle the stomach. i could see crushing these in the summer on a boat or a golf course, its also a great beer with chilled raw seafood, but its downright special on a hangover. like special medicine made just for me. thank you 4 hands for this amazing recovery juice. great beer even without the hangover, deserves much higher scores i reckon!

had on draft finally after having it quite often before. pours a slightly hazed blonde with a decent little white head that left some spots behind. nose was lots of light bread and pilsner malt with a touch of floral on the backend. taste is super refreshing pilsner malt and some citrusy bite, jasmine and bread all mixing together but not being powerful. an old review mentions this being a good hangover beer and that nails it. easy to drink, crisp with a slightly dry finish, really tasting good with this horrible heat outside.

I had this in the afternoon on Easter Sunday...it is a light, clean, and enjoyBle brew for spring. Light gold, clear, moderately fruity, with some malt and flowery...jasmine. The taste is balanced, and drier than expected, which suits the beer well. Light in body and refreshing.

It's odd with 4 Hands BC - we get distribution here in PA, but it is scattered to the point that I CAN find some in PHL, some in LNC & still others were returnees with me from CHI. I dig the graphics on the CANs & I am anxious to CANduct a horizontal tasting/review of their CANned beers. When it is over, if you know of a CAN of theirs that I missed, let me know.

From the CAN: "Food Pairings [:] Poultry - Camembert Cheese"; "Ale Brewed with Jasmine".

The Crack! was nice & loud, but I have begun employing a gentle pour of late. Once I had deCANted enough of it into the awaiting glass, I gave it a vigorous swirl, raising a finger of foamy, bone-white head with moderate retention. Color was Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4) with NE-quality clarity. Nose had a sweet, perfume-like, flowery scent which I attribute to the jasmine, underlain by a biscuity maltiness. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was odd, sort of a vanilla sweetness with a biscuity dryness. I was put in mind of 'Nilla Wafers, which I had not eaten in years until I was an Elementary School teacher during SY 2014-'15. They actually make a nice snack and this made for a nice drink. Finish was semi-sweet since the floweriness did not lend all that much sweetness to it and the malt had more of a drying effect. This was a nice, basic Blonde Ale, nothing terribly special, but easy to drink. I was pleasantly surprised by it.

Pours a light straw color with fingers of pearl white head. Fairly average head retention & lacing

S: Grainyness, apricot, white pepper, jasmine & other perfumy notes

T: Delicate grassy & floral notes, as well as cold cereal up front. More cold cereal notes, grassiness & floral notes faint apricot, melon & lemon notes as this warms. Finishes with wet cereal and melon

MF: Light bodied, delicate carbonation

Drinks easy but doesn't really hold your attention would be much more to my liking on a blazing hot day. Not one I would buy again...

Light golden in color with a half inch head of tightly knit head of off white foam. Brussels lacing. Aroma of light grains and a bit of jasmine. The flavor is light grains in the front of the palate and then a more powerful finish with judicious use of jasmine in the finish. The body is light and crisp.
