The Passion Fruit Prussia is our non-traditional look at the classic Berliner Weisse style. Brewed with a generous amount of passion fruit, this beer pours golden in color with a nice tart finish. A perfect compliment to the summer heat.

2 drafts in a Chimay goblet at the "South of 80" event at Green Lady.

Pale pastel orange, with a head of creamy white foam with a velvety surface texture.

Aroma is bursting with fruity tropical passionfruit. Really intense and enjoyable.

Taste was similarly fruity, with a juicy tartness and an undercurrent of wheat. Light and extremely easy drinking, especially considering the abv. Was reaching my limit, and decided to close the night out with another one of these. Fantastic.

This was nice, A little to tart, I can feel it on the teeth. Fruit is a present but could use a boost. Over all very nice berliner.

Pours hazy, caution light yellow in color, with 1/4 inch head. Taste is sour mix, lemon, and slight passion fruit. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. Wanting more passion fruit taste, but makes for an above average and tart sipper.

Light golden hued with significant haziness. A trace of thin white head covers the majority of the top of the beer. Aroma of pale wheat and tropical passion fruit is present. Think pineapple and mango in the fruit arena and is definitely more on the tart end. The mouth is light and yet moderately carbonated.

From a can at the Burning Can Festival (NC)

Pours with a pale golden body topped with a fine white head. Served ice cold.
Robust tart and fruity flavor. Very tasty with moderate to high tartness.

Pours a hazed straw color with a pinky of egg shell colored head. Slight head retention & lacing

S: Tartness, plum notes & passion fruit

T: Passion fruit, a little white grape, tartness & slight saltyness up front. Tartness, lemons, & tartness as this warms

MF: Light body, slight carbonation

Drinks so easy, great thirst quencher, spot on for the style variant. I will buy this again if on offer, fantastic for this time of year or sooner

A: Pale lemon yellow with two finger frothy white head. Long retention and plenty of lacing

S: Tart lemon with a slight hint of berries and wheat.

T: Bright citrus with a mix of lemon and lime and lightly sweetened with passion fruit.

M: Medium to light body with average carbonation. Finish is lightly sour but pleasant.

O: Very enjoyable brew. Nice example for style.
