Notes / Commercial Description:
This is the new and improved Peanut Butter Chocolate Milk Stout. This is a beer that deserved to stand on its own, so we re-branded it and gave it a bit more body. The beer is now 7.1%, but still holds the same flavor profile you all love from years past.

Once again 4 hands does not disappoint with a solid stout....this one in the form of peanut butter and chocolate. The beer poured an opaque black with tan head that did not leave any lace. The scent had more peanut butter....the taste had more chocolate. Either way it was quite nice. The mouthfeel was medium on body with smooth carbonation. Overall....SOLID....and definitely worth a try.

Thank you ThisWangsChung!

Solid. Lovely creamy flavors. Has a really balanced malty peanut backbone, but it actually tastes natural.

Duclaw: Please stop making artificial-flavored brews and learn something from these guys. It has to taste natural. Not acerbic or derivative.

Would absolutely seek out. And would love to see a variant with jam or macerated fruit introduced!

Absence of lighter beers.

22oz bottle, no date. Pours mostly black with a medium sized light khaki head; some lacing. Smells of roasted nuts, cocoa, roasted malt, and sweet lactose. The taste follows exactly with roasted malt, nuts, sweet lactose, and cocoa; smooth and pleasant. Moderate sweetness and light saltiness in the finish. Average body and carbonation. Overall, it has good intensity and is exactly as advertised. Very well done adjunct Milk Stout.

Pours opaque, dark brown in color, with one inch head. Taste is deep black coffee, roasted malt, and faint vanilla with light peanut butter on the finish. Light bodied, high carbonation, and roasty. Was expecting/hoping for more peanut butter here. What is left is an average to slightly below average stout. Several other coffee beers I would go to over this one. Probably decent if you love coffee, but left me wanting something else.

Beer pours black, with a little light peeking around the edges when the glass is held up to the light. Initially has small tan head. Smells of faint peanut butter. Peanut butter taste with hints of baker's chocolate. Having the original PB stout from 4hands, this is a bit thicker as advertised. I would have liked to have a little more of a chocolate flavor come through, as it is muted and hard to detect.

Fingernail of beige on top and dark brown in color. Moderate lacing. This honestly smells like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. They nailed that aroma of peanut butter and chocolate. The taste while primarily peanut butter and chocolate shows of some bitter roasted barley in the fade which keeps it from being too sweet. Yet that bitter note seems a bit out of place. The mouth is creamy and smooth.

Large shared bottle.
Pours near black with dark brown edges and a good tan head. Lots of roasted peanutand dark grains in the nose.
The flavor follows. Lightly sweet up front with a surprising but mild bitterness in the finish. Seems like it may have some unwanted flavor from toasted peanut hulls?
Light carbonation in a near medium body.

Tons of peanut butter on the nose. Smooth and light on the palate. Peanut butter grows through the sip.

Cream, chocolate, roast, dark fruit.

Thin bodied.

Pours an effervescent ebony with a pinky+ of tan head. Above average head retention & good lacing

S: Peanut butter & a little cocoa

T: Peanut butter & Baker's and dark chocolate, a little bit of dryness & lactic acid, plus just a little charred grain. Peanut butter, dark chocolate, plus some woody hops as this warms. Finishes with a little bitterness, Baker's chocolate-like, then dark & milk chocolate, plus some lactic dryness

MF: Medium body, a touch over carbonated. Carbonation smooths out once warm

This is the best beer of this ilk ( peanut butter ) I've tried, wish the nose & mouth feel was a little more dialed in, but certainly would recommend buying this

Dark brown with light passing through the edges. Short head that's a little whips, but retains well.

Nice peanut butter and chocolate aroma, as expected. Pretty two dimensional, but let's be honest, that's what I was hoping for.

Yep, peanut butter cup. But, the peanut butter has a little bit of that stale cardboard taste like it stayed on the shelf way too long. A shame, because otherwise it had potential.

Mouthfeel is a little thin and higher on the carbonation. Low carbonation and a little viscosity would have worked really well.

A decent stout. IMO, when you're trying to pull of pb and chocolate it needs to come with a full soft mouthfeel and this lacked in that department. Otherwise, about as expected.

4 Hands makes good drinking beer. Its not a top of the line brewery by any means, but what they do they do well. And this beer is no different. Think Reeses Peanut butter cup in liquid form. One of these by a fire on a cold night is awesome!
