Notes: RESURRECTED [-] Rise up and tantalize your taste buds with the Mosaic hopped IPA! Resurrection pours amber in color with a firm off white head. Look for loads of tropical flavors in this medium bodied IPA. Aromas of passion fruit, pineapple and candied fruit dominate.

Amber color, not real cloudy, but not clear. Can pours with nice head and lacing. Smell is slight pine, not strong. Slight bitter finish. Clean feel, doesn’t grab. Overall good session IPA.

An aggressive pour reveals a slightly hazy light golden beer with a substantial off-white head. The nose is the nose of a Mosaic-hopped IPA, with dank tropical citrus aromas most prominent, including tangerine and juicy pineapple.

The dank dance party continues through the taste, with tangerine and pineapple flavors mixing with a very subtle malt component to yield an old school IPA that is squarely in my IPA sweet spot.

Poured into an ol michelob glass. This beer pours with a three finger head that slowly dissapates leaving a webby lacing on the side of the glass. Smells of citrusy fruits with a hoppy end. Tastes like a finely balanced IPA should. A rather orangy foretaste paves way for a hoppy aftertaste that isnt as bitter as quite a few other IPAs out there. The carbonation is rather subtle and dances softly across the tongue when sipped. Very enjoyable and not too heavy. Makes for a good session ale.

Pours a lightly hazy golden color with a thumb sized cream colored head that laces well.

Aroma is lighter then expected considering the rating light tropical fruit notes with lighter whiffs of pine needles and hints of herbal dankness on a bready malt base.

Taste like the nose light tropical fruit notes, herbal dankness with hints of pine. Almost tastes kind of old but can was dated 120th day of 19

Mouthfeel is good solid medium with maybe a touch more then medium carbonation.

Overall eh not great overall rating is high figured it would be better or maybe I am just not feeling it.

Poured from a 12oz can at 40-45 degrees into a glass,

Look: Pours a dark orange, slightly amber, very hazy color
Smell: Strong oily, sweet fruit of citrus, melon and candied fruit, but a lurking earthy aroma. There is honey biscuit malts which are quite strong for an IPA.
Taste: Flavor is of dank, earthy notes. Black tea is definitely present. Not necessarily of pine, nor too fruity. Flavors of tropical fruit, melon, pineapple, and orange citrus. Dry and not too sweet by any means.
On a second tasting, no... tropical and citrusty flavors predominate. Mostly melon and candied fruit. A low malty presence, but an appropriate dryness.
Feel: It is a very dense, appropriately carbonated, oily beer.

Compared side-by-side to the standard Two-Hearted Ale they are very similar. This one has more citrus and candied fruit, with a slightly less heavy, oily mouthfeel. On a second tasting this one has way less earthy, dank flavors, but much more tropical citrus and black tea. Not quite up to par with the standard Two-Hearted in terms of balance, however this is definitely more dry-hopped and fruity.
Compared side-by to Praire Madness IPA from Hailstorm (GABF 2017 IPA winner): This one has more of a black tea flavor. More citrus and less tropical melon. Lighter. Slightly dryer and less oily, or heavy. Similar amounts of pine and hop bitterness.

Overall: This is an excellent IPA! It is aggressively dry hopped; the aroma is oh so strong and impressive. This one is heavily dry-hopped. One of the darkest and dankest IPAs I've had. It is oily with abundantly hopped. Very dry. If you are looking for an extremely aromatic and flavorful, dark and dank IPA, then this is it. My first offering from 4 Hands and I am impressed with this mosaic hopped masterpiece. So unexpected, but this is quickly becoming my #1 favorite IPA!

This is a really nice tasting IPA. Pours a somewhat hazy copper orange with very little head. Aroma is restrained peach and bread flavors. Malt profile and hopping level and treatment is perfect combination. Hop profile is somewhat dank and funky. I’d prefer some more tropical hops, but the taste profile is well done for the single- note hop they used l, I think they executed what they were going for. Not my favorite IPA, but well made.

Having just had Cas$h Mony before this, Incarnation is much the same, with a darker caramel color and a slightly more dense, shorter head.

Taste exhibits a touch less caramel and a little more bitterness, with more toasty cracker. Either way, it's a lame ass attempt at a West Coast IPA, with a dry, chewy finish and lots of rug and cat piss notes.

Taste was sharp, not very hoppy.
Lightweight feel, good bite.
Complemented the chicken nicely.
I'd drink it again.

Excellent looking beer with a reddish copper color and a 4F head.
Floral, fragrant, pine, tropical fruit aroma.
The taste doesn't follow the aroma completely. There is pine, citrus, earthiness, and tropical fruit which develops with warming. No sharpness of taste, nothing pronounced. I would have preferred a prominence in the tastes.

The body seems to thin with warming. Moderate bitterness.

Overall, a very good IPA. Perhaps tweak the recipe for a great IPA. Aroma and look stand out. More pungent spicy bitterness needed with a pronounced citrus and tropical highlights.

Oooooh wow, this is the beer that my favoritist person in the world brought to me. Perhaps you have read about the illustrious Dr. Carroll before. Well let me tell you, not only is she easy on the eyes, but she is the most considerate person in the world having brought this gem of a beer to me in July 2016 when we reunited at Summerfest for the Tom Petty show.

I got off the plane, and the next day was laying around the pool. It was surreal to be there and back, so I poured this our, a nice glowing golden yellow kind of color with a full 5/6" white head. It was a pretty pour provided by a pretty girl. The aroma smacked of passion fruit, pineapple, pine and other varied tropical notes. Very nice aroma. Such a contrast to the main smell I think of, those endless nights in the Brew Bayou, the coffee hanging thick in the dense air, so cold outside but dense indoors.

The taste, oh, all those hop flavors, I'm thinking I came across probably Galaxy, Citra, maybe Simcoe hops in this one. Very pale toasty malts there, enough to carry you through, but light and out of the way so the hoppiness just crushes you wave after wave. Such a great beer, from a great friend. I definitely need to plan a trip out to St. Louis, between Dr. Carroll, 4 hands and Side Project, I don't see how I could go wrong. I'm so sad it won't be to see Tom Petty like I had hoped, but I guess we'll have to figure someone else out, we talked Stones, who knows. I'm always down for some Steel Panther or Wheeler Walker. Rock N Roll, hoppy goodness and great friends, bring it on!

On tap at Bulldog Ale House - North Aurora, IL
Copper colored body with a thin beige head. Juicy aroma of lemon-lime & passion fruit with light caramel. Light caramel malt plays well with passion fruit, lemon-lime, pineapple, and mango. Medium body, ample carbonation, finishes bittersweet. Overall, very flavorful IPA. I swear I had this before, but maybe I'm mistaken. Either way, I'd drink it again.

Best by 9/16/17
Light fizzy head, decent lacing, hazy golden nectar color

Nose plenty of hops, little pine and earthy, citrus but more like candied orange zest, orange marmalade, a touch of the skin of pineapple, sweet candy malt

Taste fairly sweet candy malt, little syrupy, toasted grain, big hops, spicy earthy pine sap, pineapple skin, candied orange zest, marmalade, a little apricot preserve. Finish little drier, little sticky, little booze, plenty bitter rind and sap

Mouth is med bod, little syrupy, lighter carb

Overall eh, not my style ipa, sweet candy malt, candy hops, lots of pine and spicy, but otherwise not bad

If there is a new school tropical IPA, then this is a good rendition of the dominant Mosaic hops.
Had after exercise, it was refreshing and cleansed the palate. Simple, but slightly alcoholic to be considered real simple.

Looks inviting and Smells the same. The pineapple delivers the draw-in. Tastes balanced. Very little says "bitter." And most of it says "drink me." Feel fits.

Would I have it again. Yes? Under similar circumstances. I'm am shifting to liking the tropical.

Dirty gold color and clear. Moderate head with a couple of streaks for lace.

Prickly weed like aroma. A bit grassy like a fresh mowed lawn.

The malt starts with a touch sweet toast. The hop quickly takes over with the flavor version of the aforementioned smells. The finish is straight up bitterness leaving a long aftertaste. The body leans thin while the carbonation is slightly elevated. Overall, a good and true American IPA.

This beer is surprisingly good. Pours a clarion amber with some lacing and just the slightest bit of haze. It has a somewhat fruity smell with just a touch of malt. The taste is fruity, dry, and light. Not bitter at all which is refreshing considering the color of this beer. It feels medium bodied for the style. It looks like a western style IPA but tastes more like an eastern style even if not as sweet or fruity. Surprisingly good beer.

Poured from a 12 ounce can with a best by date of 8/25/17. The beer pours a solid amber color with a two-finger, light tan head with nice long retention and tons of lacing.

The smell is pineapple, orange, more tropical, floral, and a little pine resin.

The taste is very heavy on the floral and tropical notes. There is an earthiness to the finish that lingers with very little bitterness. There is a decent malt backbone that isn't overpowering and doesn't detract from the hops.

The mouthfeel is medium thickness and carbonation but with a nice velvety, oily feel.

Overall this is a very nice beer, easy to drink, nice balance of flavors, and something I would easily drink regularly.

Impressive head and lace astride a medium cider body. Nose is pine and grapefruit with some balance from biscuit malts. Overall very pleasant and intriguing.

Heavy hop assault from the outset. The malts recover a little at the finish but heavy pine and medicinal hops carry this most of the way. A little yeasty with a touch of pepper. Thick and syrupy in the texture, and easy to drink as well.

Solid, workmanlike IPA that is different enough to matter.
