Gold in color with a light haziness. There's a large, dense inch thick beige head resting on top. Moderate lacing. The aroma is all about mosaic hops and light cracker scented malt. The taste is closely in line with the aroma. The earthy, floral mosaic hops lead off in the front of the palate and then at the back you get a bit of the cracker like malt. There's a flourish of the mosaic hop bitterness at the finish. The mouth is lightly sticky.

An overall good beer. Poured from a can into a steel YETI thermos while camping right before we received our alcohol citation (yay)

L - Pale gold. Lighter color than I thought with a bright white head that stuck around for a while. Very clear, maybe a little too pale and clear.

S - Tons of fruit and very sweet. Pineapple is mostly what I got but also some mango or another very juicy tropical fruit. I didn't realize it had Mosaic in it until just recently and that makes sense.

T - Delicious. Not very bitter at all. Smooth and crisp. The fruits on the nose are forefront on the tongue. Sweetness but not a malty sweetness. Almost like you are biting into a juicy hop cone.

F - Eh. I would not describe this as medium bodied but light bodied. Kinda disappointing here. The taste didn't really linger in my mouth and dissipated quickly.

O - Good stuff. Very refreshing and easy to drink. No one flavor blows you away but it is not overly bitter, harsh or too sweet. Well balanced but maybe just a tad too thin or watery for me. Recommended.

4 Hands Brewing Co. "Incarnation IPA"
12 fl. oz. can, no apparent freshness dating
$2 @ Weis Market, Conshohocken, PA

Look: Very hazy, even cloudy, golden body with an orange cast beneath a stubbornly firm head of rocky off-white. Mountains of streaky and spotty lace are left behind.

Smell: Citrusy/tropical with resin and something similar to green pepper. Earthy, and leafy. Somewhat musty.

Taste: Tropical/citrusy fruits: grapefruit, lemon zest, papaya, mango, pineapple, tangerine. Earthy and leafy, almost tea-like. Grassy. Piney. Peppery. Some white grape/blueberry. The biscuity malt base is sweetish, and although it doesn't seem particularly bitter it still remains balanced. Alcohol is present but not bold, probably adding just enough that it also helps to balance the malt and give it some snap. Dry finish with a variety of different notes lingering - sometimes orange comes out on top, sometimes pine, sometimes papaya, etc.

Feel: Medium leaning medium-light in body with a fine-bubbled, seemingly natural median carbonation that leaves it delicately crisp and then smooth. Very nice!

Overall: Interesting. Certainly full flavored. Surprisingly well-balanced, including the alcohol component. Complex, and intriguing. There may be aspects that you don't care for, but there will certainly be some others that you do like - and any way you cut it, it's hard to ignore.

Ha ha.....same can/font as resurrected.....but different name and different style. The incarnation is English leaning for IPAs and is quite nice. The beer poured a copper clear with good white head that left some laced. The scent carried bitter hop with hints of pine and citrus. The taste was evenly balanced and finished bitter allowing it to come off the pallet clean. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall this beer is very good!!!!!!!!!!

Pours an effervescent honey color with 2+ fingers of beige colored head. Good lacing & pretty good head retention

S: Tropical & citrus

T: Grapefruit, mango, & tangerine up front. A little breadyness & pine mingle with grapefruit & mango as this warms. Finishes with grapefruit pith, pine & a little breadyness

MF: Medium body, slight carbonation, good balance

Easy drinker, good tropical IPA

Pours a nice amber orange sort of rusty, with light carbonation and a one finger head.

Love me some Mosaic hops! Always brilliantly citrusy with such a complex flavor and aroma profile.

Citrus, pine, malty buttered rolls, delicious.

Mouthfeel is lighty carbonated but balanced in flavor, goes down like water.

Overall, an amazing IPA to try if you can get your hands on it. Glad to see it in a can too!

This hoppy brew has an intoxicatingly fruity aroma. But the best part is the flavor explosion in the mouth. Complex fruit and floral with a delicious bitter finish. A perfect brew.

12oz can poured into a tulip
no canning date

A- pours a clear golden color with with a one-finger creamy white head that has good retention and leaves some lacing behind

S- tropical and citrus hops up front with light resinous notes, earthy and musty, just a hint of sweet malt

T- tropical hop notes up front, mango citrus peel, guava. Mid -palate gives some earthy/musty/herbal notes before finishing with slightly sweet malt and a linger of tropical fruit

M- medium body and carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that turns into a creamy finish

O- balanced more like a pale ale, high drinkability
