Best by date is only a tiny bit on the can, the rest is apparently out in the ether.

Pours a nice fizzy bubbly head that hits a finger before disappearing back pretty quickly, just a touch of lacing, a murky hazy pear tan color.

Nose is like a tart gose, plenty of creamy wheat, toasty notes, lemony tartness and a little lactic acidic sourness, hint of coriander like spices, mostly lemony like citrus and maybe a very faint guava

Taste brings tartness again, more lactic acid and creamy yet nice acidity, plenty of wheat as well, creamy wheat, a little toasty bready and a touch biscuity even, plenty of lemony citrus again, this time more guava but I wouldn't say guava king, guava juice and lemon juice blended, maybe a hint of coriander like spices as well but that could be my brain playing tricks on me, a little juicy citrus fruit. Dry but flemmy acidic finish, lingering citrus and a little guava.

mouth is lighter bod, a bit of acidity and flemmy finish, decent small bubble carbonation.

Overall not bad as a gose style beer, nice wheat and lactic acid, creamy and a bit tart, as far as guava there is some but not a ton, I wouldn't call it the guava king by any means.

Pale yellow in color and plenty hazy. There's a fingernail of brilliant white covering the top. The aroma is of lime, guava, and pale wheat. The taste is faint pale wheat and guava. The lime to cactus like flavors of guava are much more apparent in the taste than the aroma. The mouth is very light and a touch watery.

Pours a hazed straw color with a finger of white head. Stays hazy, minimal head retention & lacing

S: Some guava

T: Guava & dryness, a little pear & wheat tartness. More guava & dryness as this warms, a little grainyness & tartness too. Finishes with Guava sweetness, a little tartness, not much else

MF: Light/medium body, fairly firm carbonation

Drinks easy enough, but was hoping for more. But alright for a warm Spring or Summer day, a bit Pricey at $9.99 a 4 pack, ( pints )

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a cloudy yellow color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, salty, light guava. Taste is tangy, wheat, salt, guava, dry at the finish. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an o.k. beer, but one is plenty for me.

Pale opaque canary yellow, sticky lace around the glass and lasting surface coverage.

Aroma is lightly tropical with tangy guava, mildly wheaty. Taste is smooth and mild, tangy guava and sweet wheaty graininess in the background. Smooth creamy feel from the wheat, and a light natural tartness from the fruit. Light bodied and pretty drinkable. The Five Alive-style can graphic is cool, though the beer leaves a little to be desired in the fruit dept.

Milky, very pale straw yellow with a large, foamy white head leaving loofah lace.

This smells like a gose....tart, salty, and lactic with orange, lemon and that distinct, spicy tropical guava smell with a hint of wet wheat.

Taste takes steps away from gose, but it is still tart for what it is, I guess I wasn't expecting it in looking at the can but the website does describe a 'lightly tart wheat ale.' It does start with wheat and cracker, then brings in guava and lemon rind with still a little saltiness seemingly paired with a bittering element like heart of romaine.

Light bouncy body with a fizzy crispness finishing semi-dry.

Pours a bright, opaque wheat with a finger of fizzy white head. Head retention is okay, with no lacing left behind. Aroma is guava, melon, and wheat. Flavor profile is smooth and steady, with notes of guava, melon, and wheat. It has a bit of a sour intro, with a tangy finish. Mouth feel is thin, and smooth. Overall, it's simple and definitely easy to drink. The tart and sour characteristics almost make it drink more like a gose - which is great if you're seeking a gose. It doesn't provide the substance of a formidable pale wheat.

Served in a 12oz snifter from a 16oz can.

From a 16 ounce can, enjoyed during Hockey Playoffs, this brew is a very hazy pale yellow-color. The head is foamy, white, and lasting. The aroma is of meaty tropical fruit. It has a hint of pineapple and melon. I'm not sure exactly what Guava is like, but this must be the scent. No hop or malt in the aroma. Nice wheat twang in the taste. Some sweetness, balanced with a bit of bitterness. Nice finish...fruit and clean. Worth a try for it's uniqueness.
