Liberty Sandwich was a much anticipated purchase. A collab with our local beer shop Binnys and 4 Hands. The beer is a perfect balance of peanut butter, vanilla, and bourbon. 33/33/33. Medium thickness, all around just an awesome stout.

22 ounce bottle into a snifter. Had 3/13/20.

Pours near black and opaque, with a short, quickly dissipating head and light spotty cling. Aromas of peanut butter, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, malt, caramel, some marshmallow, light char. The flavor follows the nose- peanut butter, bourbon- more as it warms, chocolate, malt, caramel, marshmallow, vanilla. Smooth, a good full body, well carbonated.

Solid effort. The peanut butter tastes like it’s fresh out of the jar, the marshmallow shows well, great barrels, well developed flavors. Say this often, but this one is definitely at its best fully warmed.

Look- dark with brown edges in the glass
Smell - wow, big smells, marshmallow is biggest, peanut butter less, almost smells like graham cracker a bit. It’s great
Taste - lots of taste here, good balance of sweetness and flavor and bourbon is t spoiling it. Wish it had a touch more booze hit
Feel - since it’s not so packed full it’s not thick like some big stouts, drinks nice, but it’s a sippy beer, must enjoy it slowly to get the best out of it.

I received a 22 oz. bottle from @fbarber. No discernible bottling date. Poured into a snifter. It pours a dark walnut with some cola hues and a thin, light mocha cap that dissipated rapidly laving a thin film of lacing. The smell is quite fragrant and features roasted malt, peanuts, vanilla, and subtle but definite bourbon. There are also notes of earthy char and tobacco. The taste opens with lots of marshmallow sweetness, along with peanut butter, roasted malt, and delicate bourbon. It has a distinctive Fluffernutter flavor. The mouth feel is medium-bodied with moderate carbonation, and it drinks very easily for the 10% ABV. Overall, I've never tasted a Stout quite like Liberty Sandwich. It certainly achieves its desired effect. What I really like is how mellow the barrel notes are; you can taste the bourbon but it doesn't distract from the other adjuncts.

Opaque black body, fluffy brown head. Smell has peanut butter that is sweeter, like the inside of a peanut butter cup, with vanilla, marshmallow, cocoa, and a kiss of bourbon. Taste focuses on the peanut butter and vanilla combo but it doesn't overwhelm, allowing the bourbon and chocolate maltiness to thrive underneath. Cooler for a barrel aged beer, has sweetness but not sugary, very smooth, thinner. The wife liked it
