12oz can, no apparent freshness date
A - fluffy ivory head holds excellent retention atop a red-copper colored ale
S - big aroma with spicy, floral, piny, citric hops, bready malt, caramel
T - juicy grapefruit, pine, caramel, toasted grain, bread crust, spicy Centennial hops
M - thinner side of medium for body, modest carbonation
O - I knew I would like this one. I love bitter, red IPA's, plus with this one brewed with Centennial hops, it's just an added bonus for me! I'll probably buy this from time to time. Very enjoyable!

Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.

Grandmother, what big, red hop cones you have. Ahem, anyway, this stuff pours a clear russet-amber topped by a finger of dirty cream foam. The nose comprises caramel, pine resin, light grass, and a hint of vinyl coming from the creepy old hipster's room in the back of the place. The taste is basically a showcase of resin, occasionally allowing itself to be dipped in caramel for the sake of variety. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta/kinda drying finish. Overall, not a bad Centennial-based red, though that vinyl bit in the smell and the very real one-note flavor character drag it down for me.

Poured from a can into a nonic pint. Nice and biscuity, has a mildly bitter bite to it. Would be curious to see how it plays from the keg, Feels sessionable, albeit at 6%. Would likely seek out a 6, as this was a single buy.
