Morning Glory is brewed with fresh sweet potatoes, all spice, nutmeg, whole vanilla beans, and aged on Pecan Wood. A perfect compliment to the change of seasons. Morning glory pours a deep amber with aromas of fall spices, vanilla, and roasted sweet potatoes.

Up from Jacksonville FL and stopped in at the brewery.
A: single finger head with excellent lacing on a hazy orange and amber body.
S: brown sugar, pumpkin, hint of cinnamon and nutmeg.
T: sweet caramel, brown sugar, spices, and even some candy sugar with a surprisingly bitter finish which comes very late.
M: this one is a thin with light to moderate carbonation.
Overall: clean but a bit watery. I like the idea of doing something different from a pumpkin beer for a seasonal.

I actually prefer this beer in place of the traditional pumpkin/spiced ales of the Fall season. The flavors are much more detectable in this version and the lower ABV helps this. Makes me look forward to Fall, although as I write this, the heat index in St. Louis is 113 degrees.
