16oz can from Tavour. Near black pour, fizzy brown pour yields small islands of fine bubbles. Chocolaty aroma, cocoa. Taste brings in sweet milky flavors. Almost creamy texture. I bet this rocks on nitro!

16oz can courtesy of @russpowell; first experience with 4 Hands
Poured into a Baerlic Belgian-style tulip
P deep mahogany/black w/ a 1-2f khaki head; fairly quick recession
N med nose of chocolate, vanilla, light roast, and char; pleasant
T follows nose with chocolate over light-med roast, smoothed out by vanilla; some grassiness/roasty bitterness mixed w/ cream in the finish; more grassy character as it opens
Mf light-med to med bodied; med to med-high carb; carb diminishes as I drink through it; coating finish that's a bit on the flat side
O not too bad; enjoyed it less as it warmed, though (didnt care for the grassy/roast/cream notes paired with the diminished carb); appreciate the opportunity nonetheless, Russ!

Thanks russpowell.
beautiful in the glass. mocha colored head pushes a solid 3 fingers before settling to a loose finger+ in height. Great retention with light lacing.
Nose is warm, mildly sweet chocolate and maybe a hint of vanilla.
Flavor follows the nose nicely but also carries a hint of mild roast akin to brown bread and coffee.
Mouthfeel is just shy of medium, mildly bitter, with light carb.

Malty with fully rounded mouth feel a la beer float / stout-shake, a nice thing to have nestled in the cooler for breakfast after a night of fever dreams, cool and soothing; if it existed earlier in history it could have sold next to Ovaltine: make you strong. Update: Ovaltine still exists.

16oz can. No dating information found.
Dark brown colored body. One finger of light tan head, which quickly recedes to a spotty cap and ring. A few lacing spots are left behind.
Aroma is dominated by milk chocolate, with some vanilla.
Taste is very much an expression of sweetened chocolate, and vanilla. Roasted malts provide a base for the sweet stuff. Chocolate milk lingers in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel, with a touch of cream for texture. Low bitterness. Okay carbonation.
A sessionable chocolate milk stout, but probably too sweet for more than two glasses. Straightforward sweet milk stout with a dominate chocolate flavor.

I don't know what beer the rest of the reviewers are drinking, but this is one of the worst stouts i have ever had, it doesn't even taste like a stout, it tastes like some one took unsweet chocolate milk and mixed it with Budweiser, i can taste the unsweet chocolate flavor and the drink is slightly creamy but other then that tastes too much like a drunken experiment in the kitchen then an actual brew, I'm disappointed because i love stouts, and a chocolate milk stout sounded awesome (my favorite stout is "Absence of light" a peanut butter chocolate stout) but this just left me feeling like i wasted my money, especially with how much it tastes like Budweiser (i HATE Budweiser, Coors and Miller too) also i don't have a sense of smell so i cant give the smell a proper rating so i just gave it a 1

Looks a lot more appetizing than the peanut butter variety in can design and liquid appearance. It's smooth, and lighter than you'd imagine given that it's both milk and a stout. It's chocolate milk with alcohol. What's not to like?

Opaque black coffee color with a moderate tan head that recedes quickly to just a thin ring but does manage a bit of lacing.
The aroma is dark cocoa with hints of coffee and toasted malt.
The taste begins with a sweet toasted malt, a bit of burnt toast, then a load of dark semisweet chocolate with hints of coffee and cream, then finishes with a lingering roasted bitterness.
The body is light/medium, a bit thin for a stout, fairly low carbonation.
Altogether an enjoyable take on a chocolate stout. I could do this one again.
