Formerly Pêche Lambic

Timmermans Pêche is made by adding 100% natural peach aromas to lambic fermenting in oak barrels. This beer’s characteristic aroma is very pleasant on the nose, and it has a velvety flavour and a creamy foam. Timmermans Pêche is a fruity drink, very easy on the palate, to be drunk with a smile on one’s lips.

look: smooth one finger head which dissipates to a wafer thin layer of tiny bubbles throughout, beer is orange in colours, lots of bubbles flying within it.

smell: incredibly peach forward, some sourness, floral, quite sweet, very aromatic and pleasant

taste: the sourness comes through first, followed by a sweet refreshing wave of peach, just a hint of hop bitterness there, overall quite pleasant

feel: medium to full bodied, medium to highly carbonated, quite syrupy with a dry finish.

overall: to me this seems like an underrated beer, while the peach flavours are dominant and it is quite sweet, there is still a nice sour tartness there and it makes for a pleasant relaxing drink.

1 sip of this stuff was enough; peach ice tea with a little alcohol, okay it has a fruity acidity and a co2 bitter tone but it is not a beer

250 ml bottle, as Timmermans Pêche Lambicus, from Bris Ølutsalg, Jørpeland. ABV is 4%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Sugary aroma of peach candy and ripe peaches. Medium sweet flavour of peaches and peach candy, very little acidity. Not much lambic character here.

Clear deep golden color with white head. Aroma has artificial peach syrup and underlying generic beer notes which don't mix too well. Taste follows with sweet flavors, malt and fruit syrup, balanced out by some grain and earthy hop flavor. Very light fermented fruit notes on the finish. Medium body and carbonation. It's not really a bad beer but the flavors don't mix well.

My first Lambic it pours a very hazy almost orange color. The smell and taste is a can't miss peach. A little sweet like wine so I'm not sure how much you could drink without it getting old. Easy going down with no aftertaste but one is enough.

330ml bottle (@4 % ABV), part of a quartet of this brewery's fruit Lambic offerings to just up and appear in Alberta of late.

This beer pours a clear, bright medium golden yellow colour, with three fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and yet caked off-white head, which leaves a bit of dissipating fog bank lace around the glass as it slowly and lazily sinks away.

It smells of sweet apricot/peach juice (almost candied), a bit of musty yeastiness, and very subtle grainy and wheaten malt notes. The taste is grainy and doughy pale malt, sugary peach flesh, some lesser stone fruitiness, free-range sucrose, and an ephemeral earthy yeast character.

The carbonation is fairly laid-back in its insouciant-seeming frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and mostly smooth, as the fruity essences here are not of the particularly tart sort. It finishes still pretty sweet, kind of like those sour peach gummy things once you've licked all the tart gritty stuff off of them.

Overall, this is a straightforward fruit brew, nice and peachy (take that either way), if rendered in a very simple manner. Not much of any Lambic presence can really be detected, outside of that ghostly yeast thing. Refreshing in its own right, but one small bottle is certainly enough for me.
