Pours an orangey gold colour, quite pale. Steady bead; head is white-ish, quite sparse, with big bubbles on the edge. I'm on edge.

Smells dirty, and earthy. Quite Belgian and phenolic, with a touch of sweet spice, cinnamon and brown sugar. Gets more intriguing as it warms up.

Taste is far tangier than expected. Spice is there throughout, but an odd orange peel zing upfront that leads into sweet cinnamon bun notes on the back, some cola character as well. Bit odd; doesn't quite mesh.

Bit of sizzle, ultimately a bit thin on the mouthfeel.

Feels like a weak pumpkin beer; like the base beer doesn't quite match the style, but the pie spice has been thrown in as an afterthought. Quite soft drink-esque.

A-light bubbly orange with a nice light orange head

S-smells like the inside of pumpkin with a slight tartness. Some graininess as well. Smells good, much like a lambic.

T-comes in tasting like a mix between apple cider and pumpkin, it's quite good! There is a slight touch of autumn spice to it. Does have quite the apple ouch to it though. Great fall beer. It does have a subtle tartness to it in the after-taste that is quite pleasing. This is actually pretty good.

M-good creamy high carbonation with a dry finish

O-I was kind of skeptical of the pumpkin lambic but I am extremely pleased with this offering. The Belgian brewery did a fairly decent job. There's a lot of room for improvement, but for a fairly untouched style, this is impressive. One of the best pumpkin beers I've had.

This poured out as a nice orange color with a big white fizzy head on top. The retention is pretty good on this beer as well as some sticky lacing on the glass. The look of this is really quite nice. The smell of the beer has a subtle sourness on the nose but mostly dominated by spices and malt sweetness. The taste of the beer actually reminded me more of an apple spice more than a pumpkin spice. The mouthfeel was bubbly and light, it was a little on the warming side as well. Overall it was a good brew, not something I would need to buy again but it was fun to try.

Served in a snifter at the Union Brewhouse in Weymouth.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a hazy copper orange color with some clarity of bubbles coming up through the glass.

Smell: Pumpkin, bready, lightly sour, and some sweetness.

Taste: Light pumpkin sweetness, bready notes, tart, and light sour notes.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied, tart, pucker, lightly sour, and medium carbonation.

Overall: Pretty cool pumpkin lambic. Getting another. More pumpkin and some notes would be nice.

A-Clear amber orange, not much carbonation, two finger head.

S-Pumpkin, good deal of spice, cinnamon and nutmeg, no tartness though.

T-Rather sweet, good deal of cinnamon and nutmeg, a nice pumpkin comes through but the lambic part is missing.

M-Lighter and not much carbonation.

O-As a pumpkin beer good, as a lambic meh. But I like pumpkin.

On tap at Boneyard Bistro in Sherman Oaks, CA.

Pours a clear orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a film on top of the beer. A foamy latticework of lace forms around the glass on the drink down. Smell is sour and tart with some apple cider and pumpkin pie spice aromas. Taste is much the same but only mildly sour. There is a mild spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer but it isn't all that sour and doesn't really have any real pumpkin aromas or flavors.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 8/20/2012. Pours lightly hazy orange amber color with a nice 2 finger fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of tart green apple, pear, pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, gingerbread, clove, pepper, brown sugar, toast, grass, and earthy yeast spiciness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity; smells like apple pie with some pumpkin. Taste of tart green apple, pear, pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, gingerbread, brown sugar, pie crust, grass, herbal, clove, and light yeast spiciness. Light fruity tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of light fruits, pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, gingerbread, brown sugar, grass, pie crust, pepper, clove, and herbal on the finish for a bit. Very nice flavor balance and complexity of fruit and malt flavors; with a nice malt/spiciness balance; and almost zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a lightly slick, fairly crisp, and foamy mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming noticed after the finish as expected for 4%. Overall this is a very good non-soured fruit lambic. Nice malt/spice balance and complexity, with moderate tartness; and very smooth to sip on. Really enjoyed this quite a bit.

Picked up a 750ml from Olive Tree Market for $12.99 and poured it into a tulip glass.

A: Pours a hazy copper hue with a thin white head that sticks around for a while leaving decent, but not amazing, lacing in its tracks.

S: Spicy apple cider, piney and woody, slightly funky and not much pumpkin.

T: Very similar to the nose - big time spiced apple cider - sweet and piney with a slightly herbal finish - very "Fall-like" flavors. Might not dig this one in the Summer months, but good cold season session ale...but where's the pumpkin???

M: Probably this one's greatest attribute - sparkly and dry - perfect all night drinker.

Overall unimpressive. It's hardly a lambic and has almost no pumpkin flavor. The spiced cider flavor is dominant and out of place. Definitely passing on this one in the future.

750ml, 25/07/13
The Bruery tulip

A: Clear deep orange color. Pretty looking beer. Thin quarter finger of of white head. Some lacing sheeting.

S: Sweetness. Tartness. Some spice and pumpkin but muted. Definitely sweetener added to this lambic. Almost cider like.

T: Spice bite on the tip of tongue. Cinnamon. Sweetener. Not as bone dry as I was expecting. Fairly dry finish.

M: Lighter side of medium. Highly carbonated.
