A: Great orange color with amber hue coming through. Good lacing as the one-finger head quickly fades.
S: A nice harmony of pumpkin and faint acetic overtones. Some yeast coming through as well.
T: Not overly sour. Good integration of pumpkin without getting too aggressive on the pumpkin spice. The sour notes are just enough and marry nicely with the yeast characteristics coming through. A nice lingering sour malt taste as the beer follows through.
M: Light-bodied with just a touch of frothiness.
O: True to style. Bonus points for integrating pumpkin into this style and making it not only bearable but good. A great beer and unique in its being. I would definitely drink this again.

From the corked, caged 750 ml. bottle dated 09/07/15. Sampled on October 8, 2016

The pour is a decent looking orange-amber color with a modest, short-lived cream colored head. But it laces as it fades.

The aroma captures the sour overripe fruit characteristics of a Lambic as well as a pumpkin spice pumpkin ale. Big on the cinnamon.

Medium body.

The pumpkin spices and cinnamon offset any tart or sour character I might have otherwise picked up in the flavor but both characters are there. Quite interesting.

Light, transparent orange color. Sweet pumpkin aroma with mild spices. Subtle acidic flavor. Moderate corn syrup with hints of pumpkin and spices. Descent balance. For those who are venturing into sours, this may be a good stepping stone. Light and delicate but true to style.

Served in a snifter at the Union Brewhouse in Weymouth.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a hazy copper orange color with some clarity of bubbles coming up through the glass.

Smell: Pumpkin, bready, lightly sour, and some sweetness.

Taste: Light pumpkin sweetness, bready notes, tart, and light sour notes.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied, tart, pucker, lightly sour, and medium carbonation.

Overall: Pretty cool pumpkin lambic. Getting another. More pumpkin and some notes would be nice.

On-tap last night at Sierra Grille, Northampton, MA.

A- Draft pour to a stemmed glass with a deep golden-light orange body and a small foamy pillow resting at the top. The ring remaining after head dissipation only leaves a few spots here and there.

S- Really not much to make me think lambicus but I do get a strong apple cider feel mixed with a medium-low amount of earthy pumpkin spices like nutmeg and cinnamon.

T- Fairly sweet for the style with hints of nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice; the typical pumpkin pie spice blend. Candi sugar comes to mind. Again with some apple cider notes. Slight pumpkin squash flavors.

MF- Light-medium bodied with a slick sweetness and medium carbonation. Slightly frothy texture and the tiniest bit of tarts.

I guess I didn't really know what to expect of this beer but I did expect more lambic and less sweetness. Has a strange cider feel to it that I can't really figure out. A slightly Belgian pumpkin ale.
