Picked-up a case of cans at Bradford's in Plymouth for eighty six dollars. My third brew reviewed from these guys. This is a decent enough beer, but certainly not worth $86/case. I have found each of the Fiddlehead brews that I have had to be overpriced, & underwhelming.

Can date completely missed the mark and unreadable
Pours a light airy fizzy almost 1 finger head with moderate retention, a little soapy lacing, very hazy cloudy pale lemonade color
Nose brings bright citrus and fruits, lemony up front possibly Sorachi Ace, lemongrass, doughy creamy wheat and oats, a touch floral with mild tropical notes as well
Taste brings more lemony slight musty white grape notes, again maybe Sorachi Ace but maybe not as it's a little light for that, floral grass hops as well, lemongrass, a touch tropical, mild doughy malt, creamy doughy wheat and a little grain, into lemonade notes and lemon tea, maybe even lemon cake but not quite there, touch of bitterness overall, drier finish with a little more bitterness but still light
Mouth is med to lighter bod, med-high slight effervescent creamy carb
Overall not bad, enjoyable pale wheat, the base malt/wheat could have been a bit more, hops were on the light side bitterness wise but nice flavor and aromas, a very easy drinking light pale wheat for the summer though

On tap at Fiddlehead Brewing in Shelburne, VT.
This one pours a hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and no lacing.
This smells like orange, grapefruit, wheat, pine, and lemony hops.
This is really pleasant and drinkable little pale ale, with a nice crisp flavor from the wheat, and a slight piney bitterness, and some creamy citrusiness.
I could drink a lot of this, as it’s really drinkable and pleasant, with a light body and a nice smooth finish.
Fiddlehead is a Vermont mainstay and they making some great beers.

A: The beer is very hazy whitish yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that quickly settled down, leaving a checkerboard pattern of thin patches of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of lemon and orange citrus are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of oats and wheat with slight hints of oranges.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The combination of oat and wheat makes this beer very light in body and easy to drink.
Serving type: can
