Notes:
This medium bodied American style IPA has an alluring golden glow and beautifully blends three strains of hops. While strong citrus notes ambush your taste buds halfway through the palate, the beer finishes very crisp and dry.

Pours a hazy orange with a fluffy head that lasts a long time.
Smells of citrus. Tastes of citrus with a tart hoppy finish that mellows as the glass warms.
Medium body with light carbonation.
I recommend this NEIPA.

Canned on: 05-03-22
A - Opaque medium golden tan colored pour with sticky white lacing clinging to the sides of the glass.
S - Pungent, dank spiciness abounds on the nose with onion, garlic, and citrus.
T - Sweet red grapefruit, dank citrus, citrus rind, peppery spice, a touch of onion and garlic, and finishes balanced with a nice bready malt base with juicy spicy fruit rind over the top. Spicy, dank citrus lingers for a good long time.
M - Pillowy soft, chewy texture that creates a cotton-like dryness in the mouth.
O - This is a really fantastic IPA and highly recommended.

Looks like cloudy pineapple juice, low head, not appealing or inviting. Low aroma of pineapple and stone fruit. Flavors of pineapple and overripe tangerine, some orange pith, some unsettling chive notes, bitterness lingers. Very tingly, a little overcarbonated. Not a favorite for me.

Wow, I've had this before on tap and from can. I do not remember it ever being quite this delicious. I am simply loving how smooth and creamy this is. Canned 2022-02-22, so just over 2 weeks old, maybe the freshness is knocking it out of the park. Excellent stuff!

Appearance: Pours a cloudy lemonade color with a thin ring of white foam. Nothing personal I just don't think New England IPA's look all that great.
Smell: A bouquet of hops. Lemon, grass, pollen and grapefruit.
Taste: Citrusy hop juice. Very little bitterness, somewhat tart. Equal parts lemon and grapefruit with a light and crackery malt base. Grassy finish.
Feel: Medium bodied, prickly carbonation. Bone dry finish. Refreshing.
Overall: Very good IPA. Hop forward and super refreshing.

Looks like orang juice with no head. An interesting earthy, herbal aroma; very faint citrus. Excellent bread-like malt base flavor with a moderate bitterness; a slight grapefruit like quality. Heavy body; sharp and biting; subtly masked alcohol heat.
Lookwise, the beer isn't anything special, but the taste and mouthfeel really come through for this beer.
On tap at Chickies's & Pete's in Terminal E at the Philadelpia airport.

Pours a hazy murky golden. Citrusy aroma. It's citrusy and skunky with a vegetal weedy character. I remember that this was more drinkable previously, but this particular pour was hard to get through.

L: Pours a murky yellow/orange/gold, something like pulpless orange juice cut with grapefruit juice, and a moderate head (off-white with a hint of yellow) that slowly dissolves into a ring and film
S: Aromas of grapefruit, lemon, pineapple, and pine
T: Grapefruit, pineapple, orange peel, lemon zest, and pine needles, on a base of unbuttered biscuits and with a bit of hoppy bitterness
F: Moderate carbonation, thick and kind of rich with a finish that is dry and a bit bitter
with a touch of sweetness
O: Canned about 2 weeks ago so this is the freshest I'm every likely to see it. Fiddlehead IPA hits everything you expect from a NE IPA. Rich and complex, yet also accessible and easy to drink. An excellent beer.
