Notes: This medium bodied American style IPA has an alluring golden glow and beautifully blends three strains of hops. While strong citrus notes ambush your taste buds halfway through the palate, the beer finishes very crisp and dry.

Canned on 3/21/20

Pours a milky haze of dull, straw gold body topped with a towering multiple fingers of rocky white foam; great head retention, thick, cloudy cap, chunks of foam climbing up the glass, thick, tightly-composed rings of lacing circle the walls of the glass.

Aroma opens with incredibly dank bluntness, offering a boggy array of wet hay/wheat cracker, fresh, earthy herbs, and accents of potent marijuana coursing throughout; grapefruit zest prepares a sly tartness while orange peel highlights a growing citric tone on the back end.

Taste brings wet hay and subtle weedy tones upfront before a hit of pineapple juice adds a tropical tones beneath an earthy, dank blanket; further notes of dank mixed berries and musty peach come through over the mid-palate, while sourdough bread and lemongrass are unique to the finish.

Mouthfeel presents a body on the lighter side of medium and fluffed with an ample frothing of carbonation, which dissipates softly over the mid-palate; a semi-tartness takes over on the back end effortlessly, bringing a well-levied acidity into the otherwise fluffy grit of the finish.

A (sub-) style bender of an IPA, ultra dank and effortlessly clean despite an at-times eclectic expression along the palate; though far from perfect, this is a practiced exercise in drinkability, a cool and easy approach to malt-hop balance via a uniquely Vermont IPA.

One of my favorite beers. The citrusy aroma is followed by a bitter starting taste, that transitions into a citrusy burst of tropical flavors to balance the brew. It goes down easy and is great after a day of skiing or hiking in the Green Mountain State.

On draft, 16 oz pour into shaker pint.

A= Hazy, yellow, the head appears foamy and off white, big bubbles that settle to ring around glass. Lacing rings the glass creating line for each sip.

S= Earthy, floral, some citrus rind and zest, a bit of dankness.

T= Hop dankness, citrus, some tropical notes, bread, toasty malts.

M= Moderate carbonation, medium body.

O= This beer has improved greatly over time, a very good and easy drinking IPA. Flavors are clean and refined but still got that hoppy dank IPA goodness.

Had one of these on tap at the brewery last summer & am just getting around to putting down my notes in here. A rather moderate & decent blend of citrus & pine with some astringent bitterness; to me this is a good IPA, but not more.

Unfiltered, cloudy look. Strong hops, not to much citrus.

This one seems to be overshadowed by Fiddlehead's DIPAs and all the other great hoppy beers in VT. It's a delightful single IPA with notes of citrus, mango, and fresh cut grass. It finishes dry and leaves me wanting more.
