Just lucked out as I was there getting 2nd Fiddle and tried this beer as a tasted. Wound up getting a growler and glad I did. Just a very solid porter and I would absolutely buy it again if available when I next visit.

Picked up a fresh growler at Fiddlehead on 6/27.
A - Pours dark with a small head that shrinks to a thin ring.
S - Aroma is coffee, vanilla and coconut.
T - Flavor is coconut forward, not as sweet as some I have had.
M - Rather thin mouth feel, my only complaint about this beer.
O - This is very good, perhaps the best coconut flavored beer I've had so far.

On tap at the brewery. Served in a taster.

Appearance - Dark brown. Black in the glass, but transparent at the edges. Decent cream head.
Smell - Lots of vanilla. Overwhelmed by vanilla. Traces of chocolate and coconut. More chocolate than coconut.

Taste - Bitter roasted malt. Still a lot of vanilla. Coconut is a little lost. Bitter roasted malt in the finish.

Mouthfeel - It's super thin. Medium light, objectively, but too thin for the style. I realize it's just a porter, but still.

Overall - Pretty tasty, despite being too light. More richness would support a good flavor base.
