A: Pours a hazy yellow-orange color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap

S: Lots of citrus and dank hop notes along with some lighter pine and tropical notes

T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the citrus and some stone fruit and then picks up some dank notes and lighter pine. Moderately bitter. Finishes with lingering citrus

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation

O: A very good DIPA with good drinkability. Fairly typical New England style. Recommended

Fresh at the source in a teku. So crisp, fantastic combo of citrus + creaminess + sweet crackery taste with a beautiful bite and just-right aftertaste. Pairs perfectly with spicy foods imo and is easily one of Fiddlehead’s absolute best offerings.

Semi cloudy yellow/orange,1 finger of white head that dissipates quickly, solid lacing in Pilsner glass. Lots of tiny bubbles rise to the surface.

Aroma is citrusy and woody, pleasant though not overly complex.

Taste improves over the aroma, a nice showcase for the Columbus hop with a clean, crisp taste, slightly crackery in the finish. The 8.8% is exceptionally well hidden, some slight warming noted.

Mouthfeel is heavy medium, oily and a bit creamy. This is an easy drinking IIPA that is just one of many great Fiddlehead offerings.
