Nice yellow look to it in which you get a nice smell of Peach to it! Not over power of sweetness in which it does has a perfect balance to it! Must say it is more enjoyable than the Snuggle bug if you do not like stronger sours! This is something that you can drink all day and have a nice taste of sweet peach!

L - 1/2 finger head atop a translucent yellow body.

S - peaches, brown sugar, melon.

T - wow! Tons of peach and sour apricot. Some bread and biscuit follow. A touch of funk. No bitterness. Low sweetness. No booziness.

F - light body with appropriate carb.

O - the fruit really shines in this one. I could drink this all day.

Appearance: Pours a hazy goldenstraw with a thin head that reduces quickly without leaving much lacing behind

Smell: Tart stone fruit, with vinous and earthy tones

Taste: Lactic sourness forward, with lemon, peach and apricots; the fruit balances nicely with the sour tones through the finish

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with low to moderate carbonation

Overall: A nicely balanced sour

Lemon lime nose. Some stone fruit skin notes. Unripened fruit. Some chest burn from the acidity. Crisp dry finish. Very light but still full flavored.

Hazy yellow color. No head.

Awesome fruit flavor. Apricots and peaches. Very sour and tart. Acidic. Vinegar.

Light bodied. Fairly clean. Ends with sweet tart flavors.

Nice sour with some great flavors.

This comes across to me like a Berliner Weisse, some wheaty malt showing through but really dominated by an aggressive sourness and high levels of acidity. I didn't find this very fruit forward at all, the peaches generally invisible and the apricots very light, perhaps more apparent as it warmed but still unable to fend off the dominance of the sourness and acidity. Not especially drinkable due to the overwhelming tartness/acidity and buzzy carbonation. This wants something -- perhaps some barrel aging to give it more character/dimension? Disappointing, to be honest.

A: Bright transluscent golden cloudy straw, 1 finger head, poor retention
AR: Peach, apricot, mango, slight grassiness, subtle lactic funk, green tea?
T: Follows nose, sour lemon throughout, tart finish
M: Light body, slightly watery, medium carbonation, wet on the palate & slightly sticky on the finish.

Light and refreshing. Could do with an upgrade in the mouthfeel and flavor department. All in all, good but lacking some oomph.

Pours hazy straw yellow with a short lived cloudy head.

Lemon, candy, mango, subtle funk.

Strong tartness throughout. Sour lemon. Not enough fruit, sugar or oomph to curb the sour or add dimension.

Mouthfeel is light, medium carbonation overpowered by the sour tang. A bit watery.

Satisfies any sour craving but needs to cuddle more with some oak and fruit.

500 mL bottle. Pale yellow. Doesn't smell like much. Lemony. Acidic and a little funky. Taste is more interesting. Sharp apricot. Quite sour. Dries out very quickly. Lingering sourness. Light body. Heavy sourness without much of a dynamic payoff.

This is a super solid sour from Smog City. The carb is great, but the peach is very subtle on the finish. I don't get much upfront, but the tartness is really solid.

A: Tons of peach (flesh and juice) on the nose, followed by juicy apricot and a touch of lactic sourness.

A: Golden straw color, slightly hazy with little head retention.

T: Super juicy fleshy peach flavor, followed by some apricot with a clean sourness.

M: Med-light bodied with light carbonation. The beer does not finish dry; the peach and apricot flavors are super juicy

O: Amazing. Since this is Smog City’s first sour, I didn’t know exactly what to expect. I was blown away how well the beer turned out: super juicy, super tasty. Not sure if the bottles translated as well, but on draft it’s one of the better sours I’ve had in 2015.

At the end of the day, this is all about cheesy brie aromas / flavors and unripe stone fruit. Dry, moderate acidity - akin to a bite of that crisp peach that has yet to fully sweeten - and a peep show and the underlying wheaty malt. Neither a fruit bomb nor an acid bomb, this does a pre-pubescent ballerina act, tossing it's slim 4.5% weight around. Not insubstantial despite this low abv but ridiculously un-shareable; split two ways you'll feel modestly cheated, like only getting to go through the all you can eat buffet once. Split more ways than that you'll start wondering if you really need friends after all.

I got this one in a trade, and it pours a semi dark orange color, very little head with no lacing, but aroma and taste made up for the lack of head. The smells of Citrus and peach are dominant, and you taste the peach as well, followed by the tartness, and finally the acidity. One word for this brew, AWESOME!!!!! This rivals anything Jester King is putting out, and if you get a chance to get this, by all means do so!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On draft from the tap room in a tulip.

Pours a nice orange color similar to a peach juice. Little to no head.

Smells strongly of peaches with a touch of apricots.

Very tart in flavor. Strong on the apricot flavor. Peach flavors present as well.

Feels sharp in the mouth. Some carbonation, but very little.

Pours golden with white head. Smells of peach candy and a little funk. Taste is sour and apricot up front with peach kicking in right after. Amazing brew. Thank you smog city.

On tap at flights. Looks delicious like all beer. Cloudy straw color with disappearing head. Terrific aroma. Lots of Apricot, a little peach and the sour comes through as lemon, barnyard /straw funk, but that undersells the smell. It's all he good parts of the barnyard smell and a very pleasant tart smell and none of the off funky smell. Yes I realize the description is ridiculous.

Smell follows the nose except for a great dry tart finish. Thin mouthfeel but that's not surprising considering the 4.5 abv. Really a delicious beer.

Very good. Bottle courtesy of @wheelzntoys. Pours golden blond with a little haze. Smells tart and full of citrus. Taste includes some peach and very well done funk, not over powering by either one. Nice finish. Seek this one out.

ABV 4.5% noted on bottle. Bottled in April 2015, consumed July 7th, 2015.

Flavor was amazing at firs - sour and citric. As beer warmed, flavor sort of fell apart and got boring to drink. Glad it didn't come in a 22 ounce bottle! Forced down the last swallow rather than pour it out.

Poured from a 16oz bottle into a snifter. Got this bottle from Fineout, thanks man!!

Pours a super hazy, light golden body with a small white head that reduces quickly to leave no lacing or retention.

Aromas are definitely indicative of a sour beer, tart stone fruit, vinegar, sharp lactic, a light fruityness, slight vinous earthyness.

A punch of sourness upon the first sip, citrus and lemon juice, peaches, apricots, followed by a really nice tart fruityness, giving way to a lactic astringency on the finish. Mouthfeel is light and refreshing, medium-low carbonation.

Overall very nicely done, very flavorful with a great fruit character that balances this brew out. Glad I got to try it.

Thanks to rudzud for sharing... this was the winner of a huge stone fruit beer night surprisingly.

Light fizzy head fades quickly, hazy lemony yellow straw color.

Nose is wow peach, tons of fresh peach and fleshy canned peaches, juicy stone fruit with a big apricot as well, an almost lychee or Dragon fruit like melon thing, little citrusy and perfumey, green unripened mango. Mild peach skin as it warms.

Taste is a little tart, juicy fleshy peach and apricot, nice sour tangy thing. Nice stone fruit, juicy peach, canned peaches and a little fleshy citrus like apricot tangerine flesh thing. Mild dank. Again hint of lychee like fruit, tangy mild acidity, nice sour lingering with more fleshy peach and apricot, little tangy.

Mouth is med to lighter, lighter but decent carb, touch flemmy.

Overall amazing, so much peach and apricot stone fruit, nice tangy sour, so delicious.

Shared with JLindros and Kyle.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice hazy golden straw hue with a thin head that fades to leave thin wisps and a thin halo.

S - Aromas of peaches galore! Sooo much peach juice and flesh, delicious apricots too. Peach candy, syrup, little musty. Excellent peachy fruit salad.

T - Taste is absolutely phenomenal. Great tart stone fruit, peach juice, peach candy, peach skin. Apricots galore to, super super juicy. Peach flesh too. So much lightly tart stone fruit with glorious juice. Phenomenal.

M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, clean, tart.

O - Overall this beer was really delicious. The level of peaches and apricots is just crazy. Holy cow.

Outstanding sour by Smog City, they really are busting out winners at a fantastic pace. The smell is straight fruit juice and the taste follows along perfectly. Cold you get a nice mix of both apricots and peaches but as it warms the flavors seperate giving it increased complexity. Honestly though I don't know how much of it you'll have left by that point!

Definitely one of the best sours I have ever tried.

Thanks to Retsinis for sharing this one at mrbubbler's tasting.

Bottle # 1252. Bottled 4/2015.

Pours a hazy light orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with grain, unripe peach, unripe apricot, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with sour grain, unripe stone fruit, and dirt flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is decent, but pretty underwhelming for a fruited sour.

It was pretty good at first, very tart without much fruit, but the flavor developed very well as it warmed up which allowed the peach/apricot flavors to shine through. Very delicious and worth seeking out!

Fantastic beer, had on tap at Smog City.

Very tart at first when cold from tap. Awesome nose and tastes like peach and apricot skins. When it warms a bit the tartness subsides and more flavor complexity is present. I could drink one of these to myself almost everyday

Probably my favorite smog city beer to date. Curious how it is from the bottle and how it will age
