Pour brownish black with a tan head. Coconut vanilla with bourbon nose, oak, roast and dark chocolate supporting. Taste starts with oak and vanilla/coconut, then bitter chocolate and roast cut in, before a wash of finishing gentle vanilla. Feel has a boozy flair to it, but the malty and drier body holds steady, cool adjuncts round out in the finish. A cut above the standard BA coconut/vanilla stout

Poured from fridge temp. Pours motor oil black with nice light brown head. The nose is insane. Vanilla is the dominant note out of the gate. Fudge, coconut, berries, toffee, and a little bit of brown sugar. Dang! The taste is incredible. Sweet, as suggested from the nose, but the taste also shows some of the base stout. Roasted malts on the back end. Chocolate, burnt coconut, vanilla, bourbon, cinnamon, nutmeg, blackberries, oak, black licorice, and a hint of tobacco smoke. This is not only complex, but also really nicely integrated. One of my favorites. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high tan head that left a patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge.
S: Moderate aromas of bourbon are present in the nose along with hints of coconut and vanilla.
T: The taste follows the smell but has stronger flavors of bourbon.
M: It feels full-bodied and very smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer seems to have more bourbon than it does coconut and vanilla. There's not that much alcohol in the taste.
Serving type: can

Solid black appearance
Medium light carbonation with a just slightly thin body. Despite thin body has a slightly creamy oily feel. Overall a pleasant body.
Aroma is coconut, toasted coconut, roasted malt, marshmallow and espresso.
Taste is alcohol, coconut, toasted coconut, espresso beans, roasted malt, marshmallow and black coffee.
High abv is well hidden and otherwise this is an excellent beer thats totally worth a try.
