You hold in your hand a beer so dark, so rich, you may lose yourself as you fall into the never-ending depths of temptation. The Nothing exists to be the most decadent dark Chocolate Imperial Stout. You have met your greatest foe. Now defeat it.

Darkly roasted chocolate malts are combined with 2 types of cacao nibs creating a balance between subtle chocolate cake decadence and residual malt sweetness to pull you deeper into the complexity of The Nothing.

Don't be afraid of the dark.

Poured from a pint can, the body poured a jet black. Creamy tan head with very good lacing.

Aroma is a delightful mix of chocolate and heavy malty char.

Taste follows nose. A hoppy bitterness enters the fray and meshes well with the lightly sweet but deep malty flavor.

Mouthfeel was very soft and carbonation was good.

Look: Black. Medium brown head. No lasting lacing.
Aroma- dark fruit - raisin, prune, dark chocolate, meaty
Taste- very dark chocolate, not sweet...more bitter, raisin - reminds me of brooklyn black

Feel - smooth but average carbonation.

Overall: A dessert on its own that keeps you coming back because it is far from overly sweet.

November 2019 500 ml bottle received as a Christmas present. Poured into a DFH tulip producing a large fluffy dark tan head over an inky dark brown body. Lots of lacing as it slowly dissipated. Smell was of roasted malts and chocolate. Taste was very creamy chocolate char with a bitter dark chocolate finish and alcohol almost completely hidden. Mouthfeel was suitable full for a big stout.

This was a positive experience but maybe I'm getting a bit spoiled on imperial stouts because this wasn't as complex as I was hoping. Just lacking a certain X factor.

This one pours a fairly dark black, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.

This smells like heavy roast, dark chocolate, astringent booze, and coffee.

This is much more bitter and boozy than I would have expected. It's somewhat unpleasant. The chocolate notes are very well done, though, but not so well done that they can overcome the flaws here.

This is creamy, but very astringent on the finish, hampering the drinkability for sure.

I expected a lot more out of this one.

Deep-space black body; very thick, sticky and creamy light tan head; webs of clinging foam adhering to the glass. Heavy scent of charred grain; cocoa powder. Bold roasted grain flavors infused with milk chocolate and cocoa; husky bitterness balances the deep sweetness. Heavy body; chewy and oily with a silky depth; warm and luxurious residual sugar heft; partly sweet, partly dry on the palate.

This beer is packed with rich and delectable dark grain goodness. Thick and chewy mouthfeel with warm and inviting flavors, coating the palate with lingering notes of chocolate and cocoa with a fantastic offsetting bitterness for balance. Deep, rich, and complex.
