Saw that this beer wasn't in BAs database.
Location: Mohawk Bend
Serving Type: tulip
A: Light Amber with white, quickly dissipating head and no visible carbonation
S: Here the Amarillo hops really shine orange and spice
T: The citrus drops off but there's definite spice and some resin that lingers on the finish
M: Better than average but thinner than ideal
O: I would go back for more. This is my first beer from Smog City and I was pleasantly surprised.

Pours a warm tan with a good cap of foam. The aroma has notes of mango and pineapple on it, or is that papaya. It’s real welcoming, and inviting. There’s a touch of real intense dank kind of smoky note on this, even more pronounced on the sip. Bitter and dry on the finish.

Dark amber in color with a white head. Lacing is marvelous. Nose is fruity with a pine overtone. The mouth feel is the best part, nice bitterness! Superb WC style IPA

L- Pale gold, pretty standard
S- Sweet pineapple with some citrus
T- Tropical light sweetness, almost mango flavor on the top. Kind of citrusy with a strong bitter finish.
F- Bitterness adds some dryness to the feel of this. Mildly "juicy"
Serviceable drink, leans hard into the tropical west coast vibe and does it pretty well. I like the beer

I drank this ipa with a pizza I grilled. The toppings were cherry tomatoes, goat cheese, mozzarella, mushrooms, caramelized onions and figs. It was in the low 90's in long beach this ipa carried its weight.
Tropical fruit, lemon and floral notes to start, some faint spice, before a well-balanced malt presence on the finish. Body was full of juice, refreshing, tempting, with no trace of the moderately higher abv. I may have gotten an older can (there was no bottled date) as it was not quite as hoppy as I expected from a self-proclaimed hop-bomb.
